Hillview is a modern purpose-built residential care home, designed to provide exceptional care to older people, as well as expert care for people who are living with a dementia. The home is situated an a quiet residential street, close to the picturesque market town of Ware, and near all major amenities.

Hillview prides itself in providing the very highest standards in personalised care to all of its residents.

Hillview is a warm, homely and comfortable, modern building in a quiet residential road. With a total of 37 en-suite shower rooms, there is a choice of single or double rooms, all of which may be personalised.

The home offers a choice of impressive lounges, a dining areas, a private garden and easy access to the garden decking with views across the surrounding countryside. The well kept manicured gardens to the rear are easily accessible and offer a safe environment, with easy access for outdoor activities.

Great people giving fantastic care at a time when people are at their most vulnerable. Their kindness, patience and care was second to none. Sam, Monika and all the staff could not have been more welcoming and could not do enough for mum and us, at a time when we had a great deal going on. Mum settled
in very quickly and was made to feel like a human being as opposed to just another resident. We could not recommend the staff and Hillview Care Home enough. Thanks for all you did.

My mother is totally happy at Hillview Care Home. She has all her needs met and enjoys banter with the carers which is good to see her laugh and them also. She is safe, secure, fed well and comfortable. We feel very comforted that she is cared for in this way. Thank you.

Staff always available for updates on me Dad always greet you with a smile and give you confidence that the care is outstanding. The facilities for residents and visitors are quite high, everything in communal areas and residents' rooms are very clean and tidy.

The staff at this brand new home are simply amazing and really care about the residents. My aunt is very happy and content. All her needs are catered for, and I go to bed at night knowing she is well cared for.

Mum has settled well. The staff are all very aware of Mum's needs and accommodate her requests at all times.

My husband was very happy at Hillview lovely slow quiet atmosphere which he found helpful, as he can be upset by too much noise and activity, all carers were just lovely with him especially one member of staff in particular thank you all staff your care I felt happy leaving my husband in your care.

My mum went into Hillview in March 2024 and I am so delighted with the care she is receiving. She is looked after so well and she also looks so well. Everywhere is so clean and bright. Her room is lovely and the lounges are really comfortable and jolly. The staff are fantastic and really care and they
are fun! and they treat them with respect which is important.
Mum has her hair done every week and her nails which she loves. Although she has dementia she seems settled and happy which is the most important. There are lots of activities to join in if you want to which they seem to enjoy. The food is tasty and they have a choice which is good. The staff cannot do enough so thank you. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Dad moved into Hillview in November 2023, having spent a year in another care home. The difference is night and day! All the staff always put his needs first, nothing is too much trouble for them and his being there has literally given me my father back. When making the arrangements for him to move
in, I was told that they aimed not only to look after Dad but also to take the worry and stress away from his family. They have gone above and beyond to meet both aims. I cannot recommend Hillview highly enough. Thank you to you all.

Absolutely blown away by this care home, my mother has challenging behaviour brought on by dementia and the staff are so kind and knowledgeable with her care. The facilities are like a 4* hotel. Cinema lounges, hairdressing and nail salon and her room is lovely.

Mum is very frail and in poor health. I cannot fault the compassionate and loving care she receives from staff at all levels. Hillview Care Home exudes a warm and caring atmosphere that is evidently a true reflection of its ethos. I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they give to Mum.

The Hillview staff are so incredibly kind and attentive in their care of our dear mum. We always feel confident knowing that our mum’s wellbeing is at the heart of the home’s ethics. From the care staff right up to management, we are so very grateful to each and every staff member. Where, at times,
we’ve had a concern or question about Mum’s care, it has always been handled with professionalism, respect and understanding. I have nothing but great things to say about Hillview, from my time to talking to the manager and assistant manager about Mum's needs and care to the quality of the support she has received so far.
They are so responsive with any changes in her needs as Mum can be very sensitive, it’s impressive.

special shout out to the assistant manager who has been caring and gentle with Mum with anything she needs along with all the staff.

My mother started her residency in November 2022 at a previous B&M facility. My first point of contact was the manager whose empathy, professionalism and reassurance was nothing more than outstanding. My mother settled very quickly, the staff including the manager and many others spent so much time
with her to make her feel welcome and adjusted to her new home. Mum's weight within the year went up a stone and she has never looked so well. In September this year residents and most staff moved to a beautiful new building Hillview. We were blown away with the facilities and amazing rooms. Once again Mum settled very quickly. The food is lovely and fresh and the chef liaises with Mum and residents daily. The activities are stimulating, often celebrating various events especially the residents' birthdays. All needs are catered for with regular updates. The communication between staff, residents and families is very engaging and informative. Thank you all at Hillview.

Mum was one of the residents who moved from another care home. The move went without any problems and Mum settled into her new home very well.
The home is beautiful, the atmosphere is soothing the staff are brilliant, very caring and well-informed.
We couldn't ask for anything more for Mum's care,

I visit the home regularly to visit my old neighbour, although it’s brand new it has such a lovely warm feeling there. All the staff are amazing with the residents and visitors, very welcoming, and always get a nice cuppa. If any of my family were to ever need to go in a home I wouldn’t hesitate to
send them here.

We had to arrange a week's respite care for our dad at very short notice when mum had to go into hospital for a few days for an operation. The speed and efficiency with which the manager and her team arranged care for Dad at Hillview was invaluable.
The home is very welcoming and immaculate throughout.
The staff attending to Dad were very attentive and supportive of his needs. I would be happy to highly recommend them to any friends and family.

I've been very impressed by the care my husband has received at Hillview. The pre-admission visit was very thorough, the opportunity to explain his needs and likes/dislikes was much appreciated.
The new building is very clean and spacious, but it still has a homely feel.
The staff are lovely and
seem to have lots of time to interact with the residents.

The new Hillview Care Home is bright and spacious with great views. Parking is easy.
The rooms are all well-fitted with comfortable home furnishings. The lounge and dining areas are very cosy where the residents can mingle and enjoy time together. The staff are always very welcoming.
At times, there
seems to be a lack of staff on duty in order to cater for all the individual needs of the residents with dementia. I appreciate there has been a recruitment drive. Observation from last two months.

Job Title: Home Manager

Tracy's career at B&M Care started in 2012 at St Catharine's as a Care Assistant. Following two promotions, she transferred to Milford Lodge in 2017 as an Assistant Manager to continue developing her skillset within the home’s management team. Beyond her extensive knowledge of day-to-day care practice, she has a roster of qualifications, including an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management, in addition to being the home’s Safeguarding Champion. In 2023 she became Home Manager of Hillview after a successful move from St Catherines.
