Anson Court is based in a quiet, residential area and offers residential, dementia and respite care, as well as day care for older people who are still living in the community. The home provides accommodation for up to 75 older people.

The home is situated close to local amenities and offers all the comfort you'd expect from a modern care home.

Within the home you’ll find a café which provides an ideal place to sit and socialise with friends and family over tea, coffee and other refreshments.

The home also includes a number of comfortable and inviting lounges, a hairdressing salon and shop as well as welcoming dining areas. All of the bedrooms are en-suite and are fully furnished with items from the carefully selected range.

Within the grounds of the home you'll find beautiful landscaped gardens which feature a number of seating areas and patios as well as raised planters. The gardens are overlooked by large balconies which are a perfect place to sit and socialise during the warmer months.

I cannot praise the staff at Anson Court enough! The care they have shown my Gran has been amazing! They have all been very friendly and she describes them as 'good girls'. She is very happy at Anson Court.

My mum has been a resident since April 2021. The home has done its utmost to make my mum feel settled as she was very anxious. There has been the odd hiccup but any issue is dealt with promptly and resolved. I would recommend this home to anyone. A really lovely, friendly, and caring team.

The meal in the café cooked by the chef was top marks. Could not grumble at all. The chicken was so very tender. Starter fabulous and pudding ace. We have come here since it starter and gets better each year.

The staff at Anson Court continually go above and beyond to ensure the happiness and wellbeing of my mother. Overall a lovely care home. The staff are excellent and a really relaxed atmosphere. I think some of the meals, especially the desserts could be better, too much cake and cream.
It would be beneficial for the home to have its own transport for the residents so they could have more outings, perhaps
enlisting the help of relatives and volunteers.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, nice to sit down and have dinner with my dad when its hard to get him out. We will come to all of the dinners in future. Food was great and the carers very welcoming and very friendly. They have created a lovely warm atmosphere.

I came with my family for a three-course meal at the dining club. The setting was beautiful, the food was incredible and everything was very prompt. The staff who looked after us were lovely. I will definitely come again.

The position is very varied, involving plenty of resident interaction and more administrative work to keep the home running smoothly. Our Managers typically hold, or are working towards, a relevant qualification and have proven experience caring for older people.

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home.
