Thank you for your kind comments regarding our wonderful staff, which we will pass on.
We are glad to hear that you would recommend this care home to other people. However, we are sorry to hear your concerns regarding our managers, who have received much praise for their hard work, passion and commitment by other residents and families that reside in this home. Their confidence in the management team is backed up by their reviews for Anson Court on this site.
We confirm that the cover at night time is correctly staffed in accordance with best practice, that our reception is monitored 24/7, but on the odd occasion staff may be dealing with customers in other parts of the building and apologise for any delays in promptly attending to visitors.
Quantum Care is committed to providing quality care and support to all our residents throughout their stay with us. On this occasion, we understand that there was a defect with the shower unit in your father’s en-suite, that had to be rectified by the original contractor of this new build. Unfortunately, this took much longer than expected for the contractor to repair but we understand there was a modern, fully equipped bathroom, which was available for your father’s use, a short distance from his bedroom. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time and hope that the remainder of your father’s stay with us will continue to be a happy one.

When she became bedridden the staff were always in and out, talking to her just as though she was still able to reply, though she never did. Knowing she was fading away, staff would sit with her when we couldn't, even in her last hours with family around her they couldn't do enough to help us. My daughter was alone with her nan and one of the staff stayed with her as my mum passed away. She stayed until I could see her, for her help and compassion, I will always be grateful.

The Home Manager runs all aspects of the home, taking care of the business side of things and ensuring the home provides a high standard of care. While each Manager brings their own flair to the role, they do all have some qualities in common, especially their leadership and organisational skills. The position is very varied, involving plenty of resident interaction and more administrative work to keep the home running smoothly. Our Managers typically hold, or are working towards, a relevant qualification and have proven experience caring for older people.
Job Title: Deputy Manager
The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Manager’s will each bring their own skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to providing the best of everything for their residents.

I enjoy working at Anson Court and it gives me great pleasure to see our residents enjoying the freshly prepared meals produced by me and my team.

I have worked for Quantum Care for many years and have progressed to the role of Housekeeping Manager. This is a role that I really enjoy; it is rewarding to know that I can make a real difference in our residents' lives. I also pride myself on making sure the home is safe and secure for all those who live and work at Anson Court.

I have worked for Quantum for over 15 years in various roles from catering assistant, chef manager, Assistant support service manager and now to Administrator at Anson Court.
I am passionate about any role I do. I enjoy coming to my job every day and seeing the smiling faces of our residents it’s the highlight of my day.

I have worked for Quantum Care for a year. Anson Court is a lovely home to work in and I enjoy meeting the residents and their families and helping where I can. We work as a team and support each other.

The receptionist plays a key part in keeping the home operating as it should. The role involves everything from dealing with phone enquiries to showing around prospective residents. Organisational and communication skills are a must for a receptionist as it’s these qualities that allow them to make life in the home easier for their colleagues and residents. Often the first person you’ll speak to when you come to the home, the receptionist represents the company with a professional manner, friendly approach, and commitment to high-quality care.
