Casino Royale event beautifully decorated, impressive and imaginative décor. A lot of effort has been made to capture the atmosphere of a casino - pleasant background music. Attractive flower arrangements and table settings. It is obvious that the staff have worked extremely hard. Many thanks.

The care provided at Willow Croft is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the staff who all take real pride in their job. They are clearly well organised and knew what they have to do. They are always friendly and have a smile of their faces. My wife and I really appreciate the care that is
provided.

I was very impressed on walking into the reception to see the amount of decoration and the staff dressed in glamorous dresses with a super hairdresser.
The garden looked great with a marquee decorated to resemble a casino and a "real James bond to give it a real atmosphere. The staff were very attentive
and encouraged everyone to be involved. Several clients were swaying to the music and obviously enjoying the occasion. Great singer.

Mum is always well looked after. She is always nice and clean. Her carers are nice and friendly towards me and mum. She is well assisted with catering her meals if need be. I feed her with supper when I'm here, which I enjoy.
The staff always make sure mum always has a drink if she needs one.

Overall we are very satisfied. All the carers have a very challenging and difficult job to do.
Thank you each and everyone at Willow Court.
As a suggestion, maybe some volunteers to maintain garden areas eg Guides/Scouts/Help in Community.

The care home was tidy and very welcoming. I was impressed with how the staff treated their residents in the care home, with respect, making them feel comfortable. The entertainment was amazing, the residents all looked lovely and enjoyed the band theme.

My mother is a resident at Willow Court. She is very happy there. All the staff, carers and management are always very polite and helpful when we have a problem. They can't do enough for my mother and are all very kind and caring. There is always plenty of activities going on which my mother loves to
attend. I couldn't wish for a better home for her to spend the rest of the time she has left.

I thank you all for your very hard work in achieving such high standards. I look forward to the meals I recieve each day.
I have never been disappointed. It's a good, healthy balanced diet. Sugar and salt, in moderation. The range of desserts is also excellent.

After realising our mother needed daily and consistent care, we like so many families, were faced with a serious decision. Four months on, we are all really happy with the way she is being cared for and supported. Any initial concerns we had were quickly forgotten. She is safe and happy. I visit my
mother most days and I can honestly say that, on the whole, the staff at all levels are kind, caring and respectful of their elderly, vulnerable residents. Well done and thank you!!

I have nothing but admiration for the way Willow Court is run. The residents are treated with dignity and given good support, and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The change of decorations throughout the year makes a wonderful distraction, and the photographs on the walls of the residents involved
in activities gives it a homely look. There is a wide range of activities to make sure there is something for everyone, and the landscaped garden means that you can enjoy the changing of the seasons. I would happily recommend Willow Court to my friends whether for day care, respite care or permanent residence.

Current Review Score: 8.4 (8.367)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.4 (8.367) out of 10 for Willow Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.6 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.745 for Willow Court is calculated as follows: ( (35 Excellents x 5) + (12 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 47 Ratings = 4.745

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.622 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Willow Court is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 81 registered maximum number of service users is 16.2. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 16.2 = 0.247

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
