Blair Park Care Home is located in Sittingbourne and was formerly used as a doctor's surgery before it was sympathetically converted into a care home for older people.

The home provides residential, dementia and respite care for up to 43 residents and are able to accommodate funded as well as private clients.

Blair Park Care Home has an extensive variation of accommodation from a standard bedroom to a large en-suite bedroom, as well as large double rooms for married couples.

The home benefits from a lovely, bright conservatory which overlooks the back gardens and a spacious dining room where meals are an important social aspect.

The staff are kind caring and have a good rapport with my Dad. The staff have done a great job managing through Covid with facilitating garden visits and phone calls to make sure I can see and stay in touch with my Dad for which I am very grateful for. When I visit Blair Park Care Home it has a very
homely feel to it and has always been clean and tidy. Thank you all for the great work you do.

Blair Park is a lovely care home and has looked after my father remarkably well. The staff and management are caring, approachable and are good at letting me know if there are any problems with my father's health. The food is wholesome and there is a lovely garden area which my father enjoys spending
time in during the warmer months. For anyone looking for a care home, I would highly recommend Blair Park.

The care my father is getting at Blair Park care home is very good. It’s not been easy over the last year due to the pandemic, however, I am happy knowing that my father has been so well cared for during these tricky times and the staff have taken the time to inform me on how my father's wellbeing is.
There is wi-fi which has given me the chance to video call my father to see how he is doing. The home is bright, spacious, well maintained and clean. Thank you.

My sister and I have nothing but praise for Blair Park. We were so pleased that the Home turned out to be everything we wanted and our mum has been so happy there during the last year. The manager and her staff are the most wonderful people; always kind, caring and loving, and nothing seems to be too
much bother for them. Mum was always clean and well-fed; there were always people to talk to, and she loved to talk! someone to help her and encourage her to take part in activities she hadn't been able to enjoy for many years.
I cannot fault Blair Park in any way. This past year has been such a struggle for everybody and we are full of admiration for the way all the staff has maintained such a warm and safe atmosphere for such a long time.
Thank you so much, to the manager and everyone for the love you gave to mum. We are so grateful.

The care Blair Park give is second to none. I always receive a warm welcome from the care team and the staff always have time for the residents and their families, I can't fault them. The home is very well organised and there is usually some sort of activity taking place, whether its an entertainer,
artists and crafts or a trips out. The home is kept clean, safe and the food is varied, of a high standard and snacks and drinks are available at all times.

For the 3 years that my Mum was resident in Blair Park she only ever received the best care, until her illness, which caused her difficulties she was very happy. She was always treated with great respect and the family welcomed when visiting.

My sister and I chose this home for our 97 year old aunt, as we felt it had such a homely and welcoming atmosphere. We are so impressed with the way our aunt is looked after by the wonderful, kind and caring staff. Although she was reluctant to leave her flat, our aunt has thrived in this home and seems
so much happier. There are activities and entertainment to stimulate and enjoy, as well as lots of little treats - chocolate bars, fruit or ice cream in the afternoon. We would not hesitate to recommend this outstanding care home.

After a very difficult decision to put mum in a care home. As a family, we cannot praise Blair Park enough. The care mum has received and the support we have had has been excellent. The staff are warm, caring and nothing is too much trouble. There is always a lovely atmosphere when we go and visit.

It was so homely when we walked in.

I was so anxious about Mum going into care but from day one, the manager and staff have helped me to come to terms with the fact I couldn't cope any longer with Mums needs.
The home is a proper home, the staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.
Mum is happy with company all day and care
overnight, the food looks very nice and the clients are happy. That's all I wanted, my mum to be cared for and happy after a life devoted to others.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do and if I need care in the future I hope you're there for me.

Since my mother went into Blair Park all the family have been impressed with the care she has received. We are particularly impressed with the level of care given by all the staff. We are impressed with the staff involving the residents in many activities. Our queries and questions are always attended
to and acted on where needed. The family feel totally confident that Blair Park will look after mother to a high standard which is such a comfort to us all. Mother likes her room, the food, activities and above all, the staff.
We have recommended Blair Park to others and will continue to do so.

Rooms: Bedrooms are predominantly single, some en-suite. We have a only a few shared to accommodate married couples, sisters or indeed those that choose to have company. Clients are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their families support. All rooms have nice furniture and bright curtains, tv's if they choose as well.


Facilities: We have a lovely open plan ground floor socialising area which consists of 2 large lounges both with televisions and music facilities. Very bright and spacious. There is a large open plan dining room between these 2 lounges and the communal areas gives a spacious feel through out allowing our clients to walk around independently. Plenty of toilet and wet room facilities. We have a large enclosed back garden and a smaller courtyard garden off one of our lounges. This is a popular area for having afternoon teas and ice creams and often activities outside in the fresh air for those that choose to participate. We have 2 activities coordinators that undertake activities of various options.


Cleanliness: We have a full crew of house keeping team on every day. They undertake cleaning every day and have weekly and monthly deep cleans to all areas. the home audits regularly as well to ensure all clean and to the standard we expect from our staff for a nice clean environment.


Value for money: The clients are asked in residents circle meetings and on one to ones about their thoughts with regards to meals, living environment, activities.

Before Mum needed more care than I could give, I had a bad image of care homes in my head. Then I learnt what a good care home is like. Blair Park gave mum the care and attention all of us need. She was happy there and for that, I am so grateful. The staff treat the residents with respect. The atmosphere
is one of happiness and comfort. The staff are cheerful and ensure that everyone is cared for properly. I could not have found a better place for Mum to end her days.
