The Grange is a residential Care Home and is located in Folkestone, within a very attractive and quaint area. It is close to the Town Centre and nearby amenities includes the famous Leas, a raised cliff top promenade and Folkestone Harbour.

The Grange is a large two floor Tudor style building, with plenty of character and is set in its own grounds with the benefit of lovely gardens to the front, side and rear.

They promote independence at all times, giving assistance as required to maintain a good standard of living, with the emphasis on dignity, integrity and respect providing a homely and caring environment giving each resident the same choices that each of us have over daily lives.

Employees include adequately trained staff over the 24 hour period, teaching staff to understand the physical and psychological needs of residents so they can care for them in a loving, caring and professional way.

The Grange has 28 bedrooms, the majority of which having en-suite facilities. Five of the rooms have a private decking facility onto the home gardens. All communal areas and bedrooms are comfortable and decorated to the highest standards.

The Grange Care Home is a lovely home, management and staff are lovely. I visit a lot, I always find it very good. Residents are well cared for, and all seem very happy.

My elderly Aunt has been a resident at The Grange for just over a year. She has been extremely happy there. The Grange is extremely well managed and all employees have a common sense of purpose and commitment. All staff are friendly, obliging, and empathetic to the resident's welfare. The premises are
hygienic and are regularly cleaned. A variety of activities are offered including music and signing. Food and drink is served regularly and is of a high standard. Safety and security are taken very seriously and the experience overall is good value for money.

I have visited one resident during the eight years he has resided there. Yesterday I visited another (temporary for two weeks) resident who I have known for 35 years. Both residents are happy and feel well cared for physically and emotionally. I have visited several social functions: recently the garden
party which was full up - a high class of presentations re food etc. and entertainment. Superbly well organised - a lovely experience for guests and residents.

As soon as you walk into the home you're welcomed by friendly, caring staff and a happy atmosphere. With my autine, they know when she has had enough of something and would take her out of whatever she was doing before it upset her. The staff and managers are so friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for
anything better from a care home.

I have always found the staff caring and kind. Nothing is too much trouble. They must be happy working there as it's always the same ladies. They take time to discuss how my friend is coping and if he needs anything for me to bring in. The house is happy, clean and peaceful. It never smells. I have
noticed entertainment provided too.

I have been visiting my mother at The Grange for nearly five years. The staff are always welcoming and I have seen that the whole team is dedicated to providing the best care they can. They are happy in their work. I often see carers spending time and giving extended 'one-to-one' support when a resident
is in need of some extra help. Although the building was already maintained to a good standard, I have seen a programme of continuous improvement taking place with things like new carpets, furniture and windows being fitted. The building is always warm. Thank you for all of your good work.

My friend was moved into The Grange because she could no longer live by or take care of herself. She was finding it harder and harder to get through each day. Even though this was the case, I was really worried that she would find it difficult to adjust, after having lived on her own. However, nothing
could be further from the truth! She is so happy! The staff at The Grange were so welcoming and went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and to help her feel at ease. She has settled in so well and I am so relieved! I have discussed this with her and we both agree that this was absolutely the right decision to make! When I visit her, she is always around other residents, which is in itself so lovely to see, as she was quite lonely whilst living on her own. The staff are just so amazing! They go over and above their duties and take that extra personal care of the residents. I would certainly recommend The Grange and will never be able to thank them all enough!

I had to find my mother a new care home urgently. The management team could not have been more helpful. The move was not easy for mum but it was excellently managed. She settled in well. Staff are well-led and motivated. They are all very helpful and friendly. Moving my mum to the surgery they use was
a very good idea and has worked very well. Mum has enjoyed the entertainment, and food and made new friends. The Grange is very clean and in an excellent state of repair. I have been kept up to date with any issues. I feel most welcome when I visit. The staff are very professional in the way they look after mum

Always very good service, plenty of staff visible. All residents seem very happy and content. The decor is excellent, always tidy and clean. During Covid and even ongoing, all guidelines were in place. All in all, cannot fault The Grange in any way.

Mum has been here now nearly four years. I cannot fault their care and commitment. All of the staff show genuine affection for Mum and treat her with dignity and respect. Mum has had a few medical issues and the care home have been by my side, guiding me through and giving us both all the help we've
needed. In my opinion, this is the best care home in the area and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone needing care for someone they love.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at The Grange for several months. She has been very happy and contented and clearly well looked after. The staff are all very warm and welcoming and are easy to converse with. The decor is tastefully decorated and very clean. We have felt we could trust that she

My father was reluctant to leave his home to go into a care home, even just for respite to begin with. But with The Grange's warm welcome, a difficult decision was made a little easier all around when he started staying and eventually went to live there, very happily, in March 2020. The pandemic was
a distressing time for everyone, but I was confident that my father was safe and well cared for, due to the kind and professional way they dealt with it and handled video calls and visits. My father was always praising the staff and they went above and beyond to make his 100th birthday special, even though he was too frail to leave his bed, the staff enabled family from near and far to visit and spend precious time with him. They always kept me informed of everything, right to the end everyone had time, a kind smile and advice when my father passed away. I can't thank The Grange enough.

I cannot praise and thank enough all the staff at The Grange Care Home enough. It was my Mum's home for her final 2 1/2 years of life. She absolutely loved all the staff and the fantastic care they gave her. They certainly went above and beyond, especially during her final 6 months of care. My brothers
and I cannot thank them enough for all they have done looking after our lovely mum so well. She was always happy there and joined in the activities, when she could. Not only did they care for her, but they are so caring, each and every one of the staff. They always kept me advised of everything and I would highly recommend The Grange Care Home in Folkestone to anyone. In fact, some of my friends who visited Mum have said what a fantastic home it is! We feel so lucky and privileged that Mum was in such a great home. I personally cannot thank the management enough for everything! A super team of staff makes the home what it is.

My mum moved into The Grange when she could no longer manage in her home. Her room was lovely and we were able to bring in some of the things from home. Mum was well cared for and was able to choose what she ate each day. The day lounge and dining room were beautiful. The staff were all very kind and
caring. We were able to visit at any time when Mum was on end of life care. Mum was kept comfortable and clean until she died. Staff were kind throughout
