When looking at places for our father who has vascular dementia we viewed a large number of homes, most of which were not suitable. When we visited Hale Place it was like walking into a home. The residents are all wonderfully cared for treated with respect and dignity and made to feel loved welcomed
and at home.
The staff are kind and loving towards the residents and make an effort to get to know the background and family of them. Everyone is always welcome to visit at any time.

It has been an absolute pleasure to see my mother so settled and happy here at Hale Place. The care staff here are extremely supportive, they take time to get to know the residents really well and always do their best to ensure they have what they need and want.
The environment here is light and airy
with easy access to outside nooks and crannies for little walks and talks. Clean, tidy and very calming.

The level of care shown by all the staff is outstanding and is a great reassurance as it is not possible for me to visit on a regular basis. The friendliness and cleanliness is evident from the moment you enter the building, and the interaction of staff with residents is constant. The extra-curricular
activities add a welcome bonus to the level of care.

I feel so lucky that I managed to get my father into this home. Having visited a few homes when it became evident my father needed permanent care, I was mortified by the institutionalised homes I saw.
Immediately on viewing Hale Place, the intimacy and standard of care given were evident. The staff
were all professional, but obviously friendly with the residents and so caring. The communal areas are lovely and the gardens will be wonderful for residents and visitors alike in the summer. Visits are relaxed and staff always accommodating and helpful, and the level of understanding and care is beyond anything I could have hoped for for my Father.

I love the fact Hale Place is small and therefore fantastic level of personal care is given to all residents. Good to get to know all the staff members and reassuring to see the same faces giving continuity of care to the residents.
When visiting with my partner, the staff obviously have a lovely
relationship with the residents and make you feel really welcome during your visit. Simply a lovely caring environment.

I am delighted my father is now living at Hale Place.
I had to place him in another care home but I was unhappy with the amount of time he was staying in his room and how much his personal care needs were being neglected.
Dad is really well looked after now, he joins in the different daily activities,
enjoys the company of the other residents and is extremely content.


The staff are very kind and have gotten to know my Dad quickly.
I love going to see him; it's like one big happy family.

As a resident in the village, I had been aware of the excellent reports of Hale Place and had no hesitation in recommending my daughter's father reside there. He is very happy as are the other residents who I now know very well - I call in on many occasions at all different hours of the day and can
see how well they are looked after. The staff and management are brilliant, friendly and caring in all aspects. I have been there at mealtimes and the food is all home cooked and very tempting! The atmosphere is very homely as it is a small care home and the residents can also enjoy the lovely garden and the activities that are provided. My daughter is aware that I want to go there in the future if the need arises. What better recommendation can I give ? !!

I would like to give full credit to this amazing care home. I visited many many care homes in my area for Dad but none met my expectations until I visited Hale Place. I knew immediately this was what I'd been searching for. Dad has lived here for over a year and settled in really quickly.
The home
is not too large and has a very personal feel about it, so we got to know the staff quickly. The staff are fabulous - very professional but also personal, so the home feels like one big family. They are all so caring with the residents and treat them all with the utmost respect and dignity. I can't thank the team enough for the care they show my dad. The management are very approachable and respond to any query I have.
I highly recommend this home to everyone I meet - a fantastic model of good practice which all other homes should take note of!

I found Hale Place on the CQC website when my father, who has severe vascular dementia, needed to be placed in a care home for his own safety and 24-hour care. I certainly found a little gem in an ocean of, to be honest, poor homes. He went to live at Hale Place in November 2016 and there was an immediate
improvement in his well-being. It is a home from home with care and love in equal quantities. It is always spotlessly clean and the staff are all very loving and attentive. As a relative, I am welcome to go at any time I wish and am always kept involved and informed.
This care home is run by an excellent management team, led by the owner, who are always available for any worries or concerns or to discuss my father and his care.
I would say that the standard of care and the way of dealing with people should be held up as a level that other care homes should aspire to.
I thank the staff for me being able to sleep at night knowing that my father is in such a caring and loving environment.

My Mum is always treated kindly and with respect. She is always clean and freshly washed. She looks cared for and she is! The care staff know her limitations and understand her behaviour well. They go over and above in their care of Mum. For example, they have rearranged her room several times to make
sure that it is the best layout for her with regard to her safety in relation to her diminishing physical abilities.

My mum-in-law has been at Hale Place Care Solutions since 2011 and has been very well cared for. As her needs have changed Hale Place has reviewed and amended their care routine, in conjunction with us her family, which has been absolutely amazing. They are so very caring and always interested in
the changes required to care as well as to the effect changes can have on the families involved. For us, it is a home from home. We love it.

It was a huge relief to find Hale Place and to know that Mum is in a happy and secure environment. The staff are friendly and approachable and Mum really seems to enjoy any activities that are organised, particularly the boat trips and singing sessions.

I have used Hale Place for over 5 years helping with the care for my mother-in-law who suffered from Dementia and feel so fortunate they were there when needed. The carers always showed respect to my mother-in-law, to me and all our family members. They were punctual, kind, considerate to all her needs,
friendly, and reliable. She looked upon them as friends, and when she was still able to look forward to when they came to care for her. As a small unit of people, it became very easy for us to get to know the staff, and for them to get to know my mother-in-law as the same carers were regularly attending. I can honestly say that Hale Place are a first class example of how care homes and home care should be run. We would not have been able to keep my mother-in-law in her own home without them and for this, we are forever grateful. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

My Father had a stroke in June last year, was left with severe brain damage and needing 24hr care to recover. After researching many homes, I was very taken with the managerial staff that I liaised with, they truly care and put their all into wanting the best for our loved ones. Upon visiting the home,
I knew straight away that was where I wanted Dad placed. All the staff were understanding, caring, professional and so accommodating in helping us get Dad settled in. I cannot fault anything they have done since then, Sept 2016. It's a small home which means it's like one big family, that keeps things personal. Since his stay, Dad has improved immensely which is down to this home, I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful place. The staff are consistent in their care, always have time for concerns, always willing to help. My Mum has already said that is where she would like to go if and when the need arises, that statement right there says it all. Blessed to have found them.
