During my mother's two years at Dungate Manor, the care home has gone from strength to strength. There has been major refurbishment and the setting on Reigate Heath is outstanding. The staff are supportive and there is a real homely feeling.

Whenever we come to visit our nan, the staff are always happy to help and seem to work very hard all the time.
The care home is secure, comfortable, clean and tidy. Our nan is always happy and well fed and watered. The room our nan sleeps in is very well appointed and decorated nicely.

Moving Mum into a care home was a very emotional time for me, but as soon as I met the Deputy Manager and all the staff all my fears were dispelled. All the staff put me at ease and I can now look forward to spending quality time with her. The staff are excellent and very caring. I know Mum is now in
a safe environment and being well cared for. I am so pleased that we got Mum into Dungate Manor. She has settled so well. Thank you to all at Dungate. Keep up the good work.

Our mother has been lucky to be living in a great care home for the last 7 years where the staff are always there to help her with her daily needs. When visiting her each week the team provide us with updates on how she is, her fitness, well-being and any issues. We regard the team as not staff but
friends. The events they hold are great in getting everyone involved - the race and bonfire night and the Christmas party are always busy and the relatives are involved as well.


Improvements have been implemented with the new conservatory refurbishment, front door security and wireless alarm systems - all to the benefit of clients and staff.

Mum was taken ill. The actions of the staff were exemplary. Their concern was genuine, both for Mum, me and the rest of the family. They treated her gently and with great dignity. For the 48 hours or so that she was really unwell, they were very attentive. Happily, after a visit from the doctor, she
recovered. However, this treatment is not confined to when residents are unwell, they behave considerately on a day to day basis.

My father has been a resident in Dungate Manor for 2 1/2 years. Every member of staff is so kind and cannot do enough for him. They all know him very well and understand his every need. As well as being kindness itself, each carer brings some fun into Dad's day. My mother was a resident here previously
and the same applied. I would highly recommend Dungate Manor.

My mother has her own room with ensuite toilet, she prefers to stay in her room most of the time, watching television and listening to her radio, she has all her meals served in her room. The staff are all very polite and friendly. Since she has been here I have never had to complain, they allow her
to be herself. My mum has always preferred her own company. My brothers visit her.
The home always looks tidy and staff seem efficient and capable. Very pleased with the home.

My mother was a resident of Dungate Manor for 4 years until she passed away. My brother and I cannot praise the facilities and staff for the care they gave our mother. She was treated with kindness and respect and we and our extended family and friends were always made very welcome when we visited her.
The room she had was always clean as were the other areas in the home and there was a continuous activity to help stimulate the residents.

Job Title: Care Home Manager

We offer first-class care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings.


Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the fullest. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.


Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for.


Residents have the freedom to choose what to do and when. There is plenty going and our activities coordinator puts together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, arts and crafts, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.
