There is always someone to park, but everyone is always so polite. Every week I'm given coffee and gorgeous cake. The staff are always great and very helpful. I will highly recommend.

Outstanding new receptionist and manager. Nothing was too much trouble, and I could tell the friend I was visiting was well looked after and safe. A well-organised visit from start to finish. A very pleasant experience.

My mother has been a resident for four years and has been very happy at Eversfield, having a lovely room and great staff who care for her very well. The home has been exceptional in preventing covid infection even though the current intercom/screen makes conversations difficult. I am hoping that my
mother and I can see each other in her room when we've both had our second vaccination and more than one constant visitor will be allowed as my sister has not seen mum for about a year, except one visit when things were relaxed.

My mother has enjoyed a lovely bright room with access to the garden at Eversfield for several years. The staff have always been friendly and caring. The last year has been a struggle for everyone but the team at Eversfield has risen to the challenge. Unlike many homes, I was able to visit my mother
throughout 2020 on a 'by appointment' basis. As the Covid situation deteriorated Eversfield stayed ahead of the game. They now have a dedicated Covid safe visiting room and all visitors must pass a test before being allowed entry. So far it is to the great credit of all concerned that Eversfield has remained Covid free. The staff have remained remarkably cheerful in very difficult circumstances. If you are looking for a friendly home for a loved one, do look at Eversfield.

I have no expereince of care homes fo it is difficult for me to say whether the management or the overall standard of care were good.
Bedrooms varied, lunch was good but supper less so, as was the service.
Overall, it was a cheerful place and I spent three weeks there very happily.
Whether it was
value for money, I could not say.

A very friendly and helpful care home. Comfortable, I may bring some of my own furniture and pictures - so that it looks more like my own home. The garden is well looked after and used a lot in the summer.

Although Mother was quite austere, the Eversfield staff took that in their stride and cared wonderfully for her over her 3 years stay. Unusually Mother hardly made any complaints to us. In fact she was full of praise for those who particularly cared for her. She really thought of Eversfield as 'home.'
In fact we believe she had been happier in these three years than at any time since her husband died in 2001. Eversfield is well refurbished and appointed, has a varied and good menu for meals and puts on various activities on a routine and special basis. A lovely place to be if a residential home is required

We visited quite a few other residential homes before we discovered Eversfield in 2011. My late mother went there for a 2-week trial but stayed for six and half very happy years.


In many ways, Eversfield is like a large happy family and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are good, the individual

rooms very pleasant, and the organised entertainment and activities are well thought out.


When my mother's health started to deteriorate, the carers went far beyond what we would have expected to make her as comfortable as possible.


My mother was always happy at Eversfield and the main reason for that was the excellent calibre of all the staff.

This residential home cannot be praised highly enough, my husband was welcomed and cared for to the highest standards.
All the staff were extremely attentive, polite and very caring.
The standard of cleanliness was exceptional, a home from home. We would definitely use Eversfield again.

Amanda is a registered nurse, specialist practitioner District Nurse, Advanced nurse practitioner and Independent Prescriber. Her career was mainly in the community working as a District Nurse, Community Matron for Residential and Nursing Homes and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She has developed new services within the community and received the title of Queens Nurse for the development of an ANP-led service for Nursing and residential homes assessing the unwell resident, diagnosing and prescribing to prevent unnecessary GP call-outs and hospital admissions. Amanda has worked several years as a home manager improving standards and developing staff to be their best. Recently she has commissioned a new care home but realised there is nothing more rewarding than working in a ‘homely home’. Amanda is proud to make a difference in people's lives by providing quality person-centred care.
