Kingsleigh care home in Old Woking provides residential and dementia care on a permanent or short-term basis.

The home has many modern attributes and shared facilities for residents to enjoy, including comfortable lounges, a hair and beauty salon, cinema room and a bar. Outside there are beautiful, secure gardens that surround the home. On warmer days, residents can enjoy sitting in the sunshine on the large patio or listening to the water by the raised pond and fountain.

Very good care home. Staff all very kind to the residents and family. I am so lucky that my uncle can stay there.

The management, staff and care assistants are all extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are all very caring to the residents. The day centre provides different activities to the various people attending. Plenty of food and drink is always offered. Kingsleigh is very clean and well kept.

I am extremely pleased with the way my mother is cared for at Kingsleigh. I cannot rate the staff high enough. The care and support she receives is second to none. All he needs are fully met. I can now rest knowing she is being so well cared for.

My wife has been in Kingsleigh Care Home over 2 years myself and family visit twice a week and weekends. We are always welcomed by carers with a smile and offered tea and biscuits. Always informed about any changes in my wife's condition. My wife is always clean with clean clothes. Her room is spotless.
Door always open to managers office to talk to. Music and flowers everywhere. My wife is very happy and it makes me happy to know she is so well looked after.

Kelly Kelleher

Job Title: Home Manager

I started my career as a care assistant and moved my way up the ranks. I joined Care UK in 2006 and was the deputy manager at Broadwater Lodge, another Care UK home, for seven years before moving to Kingsleigh.


I would describe myself as a people person with a passion for helping others. One of my favourite parts of the day is when everyone stops for ‘tea at 3’. It’s a chance to catch our breath after the busiest part of the day, and it gives us the opportunity to have some quality conversation time with residents.


I’ve been supported by other home managers to progress in my career, and I believe in doing the same now I’m at that level. Being able to help and develop colleagues is a great feeling, as is empowering them to make a difference in residents’ lives.
