This care home goes above and beyond in my experience. I think that, because it’s run by a mother and daughter team, it really feels as if you’re entering a family environment, and the staff rarely leave, which means there’s continuity of care.

My friend is so well looked after and she can't believe

how clean it is, how good the food is and what fun she has with her dedicated carers. The owners and staff have treated her like royalty and she is eating and drinking much better, has put on some weight and is clean and well-groomed.

From my perspective, having visited many care homes over the years, Pinehurst is perfect for her. She is treated with immense dignity, respect and kindness at all times and the place truly feels like a real home. This is indeed rare. The owners are so genuinely caring about their residents and bend over backwards to accommodate their wishes.

Mum went to Pinehurst 2 years ago and can honestly say she has felt happy and safe, from day one. All residents are treated like royalty and mum adores her main carer and looks upon her as another daughter. Staff are kind and compassionate which is very important for residents' confidence and trust.
Interaction between residents is encouraged with daily activities including Poetry, Quizzes, Films and exercise. It is clear to see mum feels “special” when every staff member takes time to communicate in a 1 to 1 manner seek their individual interests. The owner organises the most delightful birthday celebrations and parties for every occasion. With an artistic eye for detail, tasteful decorations and floral displays accompany the magnificent culinary treats and special dietary requirements. Nothing is missed when it comes to the residents’ welfare and most importantly I know mum is in safe hands.
