Accommodation at Arden House is of generous proportions, with some of the 32 rooms benefiting from their own private conservatories.

Other downstairs rooms have patio doors which lead out onto the garden. Many rooms towards the south-side of the house have sea views or look onto and over the bowling green. All rooms are en-suite, some equipped with a full bathroom or shower room.

Communal areas include a vast dining area and two lounges in which residents can relax. All communal areas of the house and garden are accessible either via the passenger lift or gentle ramps.

All residents if required have access to a 24-hour call bangle for added peace of mind and all rooms have a 24 hour call bell.

Meals from the extensive menus are high quality, varied and nutritious. Hot and cold food and beverages are available throughout the day.

Arden House residents tend to be younger than those in traditional care homes, they are able to lead an active and sociable life in a safe environment, helped by friendly yet professional staff members.

Arden House is particularly suitable for residents living with a history of alcohol and substance abuse and various degrees of mental illness. Arden House is all about the right balance of residents making it a busy, active and fun home.

Bexhill-on-Sea is a fine choice of location with many amenities such as the church, cafes and doctors surgery just a stone's throw away.

Arden House offers 24-hour access to skilled and effective care delivery for what some may perceive as challenging clients, however, at Arden House, they thrive.

The staff are very good and do their best to provide the highest standard of care for the residents. Unfortunately, the building needs a lot of work as it is old and in desperate need of redecoration. The standard of food could also be better.
