“Quality Care in a Homely Environment”: Cumberland Court is a small family run home with a warm friendly atmosphere. The trained staff provide high quality care and offer daily activities, organised events and outings.

Most rooms have en-suites and are available for single occupancy. All rooms have a TV point, phone point and a call bell. Rooms are refurbished regularly.

There is a passenger lift to all floors. The dining room and lounge are on the ground floor and there are very attractive and accessible gardens.

All food is freshly prepared on-site by catering staff. The home can cater for special diets and food preferences.

Cumberland Court can provide care for long stay, short stay and respite residents, boasting an an excellent relationship with local community health professionals.

The home is situated in the conservation area in St Leonards on Sea close to a bus route and local shops.

The care my late husband experienced was so thorough and kind. He was attended regularly and treated well. The food was well-prepared, varied and enjoyable when he was well enough to eat. He was medicated regularly when his left drew to a close. The staff were gentle. Christmas time was especially important
as a party was catered for and a solo voila player helped the residents get into the mood of the time, singing carols and listening to the soloist play her instrument. My husband seem enthralled despite his condition and with their help he managed to enjoy his last Christmas alive. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for all their time, effort and care.

Dad was admitted to Cumberland in February 2021. Since that time he has received constant care and support from the team at the home. The standard of care has always been of the highest order, and our family always took comfort from leaving absolute confidence in Dad's level of care and security notwithstanding
his Alzheimer's. Our thanks to Cumberland Court for making Dad's final years as comfortable and happy as possible.

My mother moved here on the 31st of January 2023. I am very pleased with this care home. The lounge is very comfortable and cosy family environment. My mum's room is good and the hospital bed. The food is all home cooked by a good chef who I look forward to booking a meal with. All the staff and carers
are so friendly and welcoming.

My grandmother is well cared for at Cumberland Court. The staff there are friendly, courteous and respectful towards residents. My grandmother has been a resident there for a few months now, and I have never had an issue with her care or well-being. She has settled well and is happy residing there.

I visited Cumberland Court care home last month. I had a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and caring for the residents. All aspects of the home were excellent. Nutritious food, diligent care, prompt action if there’s a fall or any emergency, flexible visiting time, excellent management and
good personal care. I recommend this care home to anyone who needs elderly support.
