We are currently recruiting for a full-time kitchen assistant but in the meantime our staff are pulling together to keep things running smoothly at the home. All our staff have completed training for Food and Hygiene and are fully qualified to carry out duties in the kitchen. I hope that helps put your mind at rest. Residents are treated with respect, dignity and affection, and their individual capacities well understood and catered for. Some prefer to socialise a lot and live most of their time in the common rooms; others prefer to stay in their own rooms and receive all their care, meals etc there. Both those preferences and everything in between are catered for without fuss, and visitors are welcome at almost any time, both in the common rooms and in residents' own rooms.
