Thank you for your kind review, I am delighted that you feel your mother is well cared for at Grosvenor House and that staff are always aware of her needs. I’m also pleased that you have found the home accessible and well presented. I am sorry that you feel staff response times have been slow on occasion - I will certainly look into this for you. I’m sure there have been times where the team have been busy but would like to reassure you that we are very lucky at Grosvenor House to have a fully staffed team, and pride ourselves on never having to run with less staff than required. Regarding the lift, we have explored the possibility of installing a second one, but unfortunately the building is unable to accommodate another. As ever, I’m here to discuss any queries you might have.

Thank you for your lovely comments. Dad has a very good eye when it comes to jigsaws, especially when completing the 3D ones. We are really pleased that he's able to maintain his hobbies. Hello, my name is Amanda Newport and I am the Home Manager of Grosvenor House. At Grosvenor House, our aim is to make living in the home a warm, positive experience for all of our residents, families and staff. Together with my team, we ensure that all our residents are treated with respect, dignity and as individuals.
We encourage residents to maximise on their abilities and assist them with their respective needs.
We have an open door approach, even if it is just someone dropping in to see what we are all about.

I feel privileged to support and reassure both residents and their families with their journey when joining the Grosvenor
House community. When I’m not at work I love spending time with my partner and my dog Floyd or enjoying a round of golf.

I started working in Grosvenor House 16 years ago as a care assistant and progressed to a senior carer position and since gained promotion to a care supervisor 18 months ago.
I enjoy working at Grosvenor House and it has become a second family to me. The residents have seen my children grow up and my children love visiting and chatting with the residents.
On a personal level, Grosvenor House has supported me in my career choice and progression.
The key reason I stay here is due to the fact that we work hard as a team and build a compassionate relationship with residents and families.

I have worked at Grosvenor House since 2016 and in the catering industry since I was 17 years old.
In my working career, I have had the opportunity of both integrating in a front of house manner with the public and also behind the scenes preparing and designing original and nutritious menus. Grosvenor House I am delighted to say fulfils both of these passions and hence provides me with immense job satisfaction.
