Quinnell House is an independent family run home that has family values and person-centred care at its core. The team take an holistic approach to delivering care and incorporate this into their ethos of care. Staff are dedicated members of the Quinnell family. They look after each reach resident with dignity, respect, care and compassion.

At Quinnel House, they understand it can be a difficult decision to take the first step to move into a care home. They will offer you support and information to help you make an informed decision.

They can tailor-make your stay for long term care, respite or day visits.

All bedrooms are en suite. Each room is fully furnished and fitted with a TV point. An emergency call system is installed in every room for residents to alert staff if required at any time of the day or night.

Onsite facilities include: Hair Salon & Nail Bar, Communal Lounge & Dining Room, small cosy Lounges for one to one chats and a homely Visiting Hub when family & friends come to call. Along with a dedicated Sensory Room.

The dedicated staff deliver activities suited to each individual's needs. They believe in active and stimulating activities that allow both the mind and body to remain active.

Dad has only been at Quinnell House for almost a month but I cannot praise the staff and manager highly enough! They are genuine, respectful and so kind. It's been an incredibly hard few months but since being there, dad's state of mind and sleeping have improved considerably. It's still hard saying
goodbye after each visit but we now have peace of mind knowing that dad is very well cared for and looked after. They all do an amazing job and we are incredibly grateful not only for the care they provide dad but the time they make for us also.

My father was recently admitted to Quinnell House, after a very difficult couple of months when Dementia has taken its toll. The staff at Quinnell are amazing, they are kind ,compassionate understanding and always make time to talk to you. They look after their patients but also make time for families
which is so important. We had many reservations about care homes as had a horrible experience at a different home but Thank God for the manager and staff at Quinnell House. Dad is now calmer, coping a bit better and beginning to sleep. Seeing the difference that Quinnell House has made to dad reinforces that the treatment and care that he receives works. Visits are still very difficult and sometimes upsetting but the staff are really supportive and do everything they can to help.
Thank you to all staff involved in dad's care - you do a great job!

My mum has lived here for 10 months and a new manager was employed last month. The manager is approachable and the staff are responding to her. The care staff have always been excellent.

This is a lovely home. The management and carers have been wonderful. The carers who looked after my mother at the end of her life were kind and compassionate, not only to Mum but to my whole family. I know my Mum was happy here and she was well cared for. I am eternally grateful for this.
