My sister and I are happy with the care that our dad receives, they look after him well. The staff in the home are always cheerful and friendly. The only grouch we have is that the lounge often seems over crowded, we hope they get the conservatory built in the near future. It will make a lot of difference.

My mum has suffered from Parkinson's Disease, dementia and double incontinence for several years. As mum deteriorated in her final years she turned 84 this month, my dad sought help and St Michaels was recommended to him. We visited with mummy and immediately felt the homely, caring atmosphere. All
the staff are so caring and tolerant and nothing is too much trouble, good fresh food, lots of stimulating regular activities, beautiful grounds, craft room, gardening section. How do I know all this - I spent several continuous days at the home in my mums final weeks and experienced it first hand day and night. We couldn't of made a better choice for mum.

When first visited home found it to be clean, homely and free from odours. Décor and carpets clean and in good condition. I have seen many homes and St Michael's Rest Home is the best I have ever seen. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A credit to the manager. I cannot fault anything.

My husband has been treated with great care and respect. The staff are always bright, cheerful and caring. The food is well cooked and varied. There is always a good atmosphere whatever time of day I visit and however busy the staff are.

I am quite happy now everyone looks after my father. One of the carers is always happy and when she is working the home is lively with music, there are some really nice carers at this home who work hard for a small wage. The manager works hard to try and make it look like a home. One of the male carers
is a very nice person and cares for my dad that is plain to see and my dad likes him a caring man.
