Our care home fees are based on the care needs of each resident and their choice of room within our home. We have varying levels of care provision and different types of room, based on the size, outlook and facilities.
All inclusive pricing - Our care fees include all accommodation and household bills, personal care, all meals, snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments, and the cleaning and laundry service. Extra services can be purchased as required, such as telephone, hairdressing and chiropody.
We are a not for profit organisation which means any surplus we make in income is invested back into our properties to improve the quality of life of our residents. Sussex Housing & Care has been supporting older people to live brighter lives since 1946.
Visitors welcome to the care home, come for a hot drink, enjoy lunch or join in with an activity. Many options for places to visit the residents including, communal lounge or dining room, a welcoming day room or their own private bedroom.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased that your cousin enjoyed her time at Woodlands, and flower arranging was a favourite activity of hers. We are a dementia-friendly care home, and many of our residents live well with dementia in our community, however, we are not a registered dementia home, so sometimes residents’ needs can be better met by registered dementia providers. In these cases, like your cousin’s, we work closely with families to discuss options and support our residents and yourselves to make the move go as smoothly as possible.
