The staff are great so friendly and are wonderful with my Nan, the care home is always clean, they have made my Nan's room nice and homely for her. During covid, they have been great keeping us updated with how she was and making sure she was safe at all times. We now get to see her but this is also
done safely, the staff have done such a good job during such difficult times. They do lots of activities with all the residents which is lovely. Myself and my wife would highly recommend it - brilliant all round.

The staff had made Mum's room very snug and personal to her with the items I took down the day before she went in. Due to covid-19, I am restricted to the entrance lobby only when I visit Mum. I am impressed with the precautions put in place to keep both staff and patients healthy. The lobby is always
clean and comfortable. The staff always have a welcoming smile when I visit.

Dad was admitted to Victoria House Care Home at the end of January 2021, during Covid times. Thankfully the home had remained free of Covid throughout the previous year. Dad had his 100th birthday in March and the homemade the day very special for him, by providing a buffet tea, balloons, decorations
etc. We were also able to see him albeit in full PPE! We have been able to visit him on a regular basis and at no time do we feel that we are hurried out or have our time limited. The staff are caring and helpful and Dad is very content.

My Mother-in-law has been in Victoria House for several years now and has been looked after throughout this time, with the utmost care and attention. The home provides a very caring, homely atmosphere where visitors are always welcomed warmly. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and manager.

When visiting my nan I was offered a beverage which I thought was a nice gesture. The staff are always friendly and efficient in their jobs and they have a good relationship with the residents.

My mum has been there for 2 1/2 years and although she didn't want to go into a care home, from the word go, she loves it. This home has great staff who care, which for me is what makes this a lovely place.

Our Grandmother was a resident at Victoria House for many months until she had to move to a nursing home. For the time she was there, she was treated extremely well by all the staff, as a family we were always greeted with a warm welcome, offered tea and homemade cake. The manager was very hands on
and nothing was too much bother. Everybody goes above and beyond for all the residents. The manager refers to Victoria House as a 'Homely Home' and she is certainly right to do so.

My Grandma has been at Victoria House a few months now and she is very well cared for by all the staff, including the kitchen staff who make the most amazing meals and take the time to ask if they all enjoyed their meal. All visitors are offered a drink and homemade cake on arrival, invited to stay
for lunch with their family member. The Manager is very approachable and extremely proactive, she calls it a homely home and it most certainly is. Nothing is too much bother.

My mother has been here 6+ months now and she is very well cared for. All the staff, from the manager to housekeeping to the maintenance chap to the chefs are very caring. The manager is always on hand to chat about my mum's care and instantly deals with any concerns I may have. It feels like one big
happy family. The food is out of this world and we are welcome to join our mum for meals at any time. Whenever we have visited her, we have always found the home welcoming, clean and full of love. Thank you, Victoria House!

Everyone, from the manager to the carers and household staff are very kind and have time for all the residents. The carers treat the residents like they are their family and nothing is too much trouble. When you visit, the staff make you feel very welcome and always offer you refreshments. I would like
to live here if I couldn't look after myself anymore. My friend is very happy here and was staying at home before but I became too poorly to look after him.
