Mum has been resident in Augusta Court Care Home for almost two years. It is a lovely care home and she has enjoyed living there. The staff are wonderful, very kind and caring and have really got to know Mum. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and also spotless. Mum is always clean and well-dressed
in her own clothes, she sees a hairdresser every week. There are numerous activities that Mum has enjoyed joining in with. She enjoys the excellent food and likes having a choice at all meals.
Mum went into Augusta Court during the Covid epidemic, the staff managed this very well and throughout Mum was allowed visitors as long as they kept to obvious health rules.
The staff are in close contact with family members at all times. Any little problem is immediately reported to us. As a family, we feel that Mum is safe and well cared for. She has also enjoyed lots of good, varied experiences with excellent support. We are very grateful to the staff for the excellent all-round care Mum has received.

My mum stayed here while I went on holiday. She went in a few days before I went away so I could see her settled. On my return, she had been well looked after. The carers always very helpful and kind. Mum had good words to say about them all and said they were all very kind and caring. She said the
food was lovely and joined in some activities. Did have a few issues with her hearing aids which is important for mum but this was sorted quite quickly. I would not hesitate if I needed mum to return for further respite or even when the day comes that I can't give her the full care she needs. Rooms are basic but obviously if to go there permanently you'd take their belongings to make it more homely. The home itself is very homely, friendly and welcoming. Even has nice touches like a little area as a pub for residents to sit and a shop. All in all very pleased and mum was in good spirits on her return.

Augusta Court is recognised as the leading dementia care home provider in the Chichester area, this was experienced on each visit to Dad. The care provided was excellent, both from personal care attention to hygiene, ailments, and emotional needs to overall management of the home as a whole. We felt

All staff were wonderful the whole time Dad was with them, but their care at the end of his life was particularly impressive. Such compassion, dedication and genuine loving care were lovely. It was very comforting to know he was in such good hands. Thank you so much, everyone.

Mum moved into Augusta Court a few months ago and I can't praise the staff enough for how much they have done for her. They are very attentive in ensuring that she has everything she needs to be comfortable. Staff are always cheerful and helpful; emails are responded to quickly, and they keep me well-informed
- always calling me after GP and nurse visits and when there are any issues that need attention. I feel very reassured that she is well looked after. Mum says she feels safe and well cared for. She was very impressed at how they took time to find out all about her life when she first moved in. She feels that staff know her well. The apparently little things, like knowing she likes a cup of tea if she wakes in the night, make such a difference. Mum says that she can't nominate a single member of staff in the regular staff awards, because to her "they are all stars". Thank you to all the staff at Augusta Court for all you've done for mum.

I am so happy that my mother is a resident at Augusta Court Chichester. She is happy, very well cared for and her room is spotless. I dreaded her going into a Care Home, especially as I live abroad and she took up residence during Covid so visiting was almost impossible. However, I soon realised that
the staff and management really knew and understood my mother and when I visited this was confirmed 100%. What a lovely team they are; I couldn’t wish for more, so a massive thank you to all the staff at Augusta you do a brilliant job.

My husband was in Augusta Court from July to November 2021. Despite the best efforts of the staff, it was decided he needed to be in a home with more specialised nursing as his dementia had deteriorated rapidly. The staff, carers and managers were so lovely, kind and caring. We were sad to move him
away as we were pleased with the home and the efforts of the staff to accommodate his condition. The home has a good reputation locally, and I have had courses to visit over the last few years to activities laid on for those with dementia in the location.

I want to thank Augusta Court for their professional care and support given to my mother who was in their care for the last 8 years. The staff are amazing, giving 24-hour support to the residents and always with a smile, nothing is too much trouble for the dedicated team of carers, my mother received

I recently visited my Aunt who I had not seen since she moved into Augusta Court. I was thrilled to see how well she looked. She is obviously very happy where she is and after her trip out she was very happy to come back 'home'. The staff were all very kind and caring towards my Aunt and obviously care

In January this year, my dear Auntie died after almost four years of comfortable living at Augusta Court. At ninety-three years of age, frailty and dementia finally took hold of her and she was unable to continue. Without the dedicated, professional and loving palliative care shown by all staff, I really
do not know how I would have coped. Faced with some unforeseen personal health issues with my husband, and the restrictions of Covid, I was unable to spend the quality time I was used to spending with Auntie, during her final year. No matter how upset or distressed I may have been at not holding her hand or watching her beautiful smile when the carers made her happy, or some wonderful entertainer was cheering up everybody in the room, I was always assured that she was in good hands. Thank you once again to everybody within the Augusta Court facility on Winterbourne Road. You are a remarkable, reliable and considerate group of special people. Love to all.

I am 93 years old and normally mobile but I, unfortunately, injured my back trying to lift a heavy bedstead. After spending a few days at two hospitals where I had scans followed by physio and occupational therapy I came to this care home to recuperate and allow alterations to my flat in order to make
living a little easier. I have now been here for three weeks and hoping to return shortly to my own home. The care here has been extremely good and the atmosphere friendly. I have also been encouraged to eat well and follow my exercise routine. Residents and staff are happy and friendly and facilities excellent!

Overall, I am very happy with the care my father has received. He became a resident when he was still relatively mobile, but has deteriorated considerably, but this has not affected the care he has received. It is especially important that almost all of the senior staff have worked at Augusta Court

Augusta Court is like no residential care home I’ve ever visited previously. The accommodation is purpose-built, providing generously proportioned flats for individuals as well as stimulating communal areas. The corridors are bright with small, personalised displays around individuals’ doors, and larger-scale
ones depicting scenes from life outside the care home. There are numerous thoughtful notions incorporated into the day to day use of the building which are designed to ease the lives of people with dementia. The staff work very much as a team and are friendly and welcoming to residents and visitors. My father has been here for two months and is very happy. His needs are catered for with understanding and respect. Residents are checked on frequently in an understated way and any problems are dealt with sensitively and promptly. I feel I couldn't have found a better place to care for him - it seems like we've struck gold.
