The Bill House is a stunning Grade II Listed beachfront Care Home designed and built in 1907 by M H Baillie Scott in the famous Arts and Crafts style. It is a truly delightful home, situated on the tip of Selsey Bill, with fantastic and unobstructed views and access to the sea. It is positioned in tranquil surroundings on grounds of over 2 acres with views to the Isle of Wight and the Solent.

New for 2022 - The award winning designer Sensory Garden is now open! Designed by Annie Guilfoyle, this sanctuary is a haven for clients, stimulating all the senses and vibrant with year round colour and scents. It is fully accessible and sheltered seating provides the idyllic location to sit and listen to the waves of the channel.

All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are spacious and furnished to a high standard. Sea view rooms are available on request. The lounges are spacious and elegant, one adjoining a very large patio directly overlooking the sea and the formal gardens.

The house is surrounded by two acres of landscaped gardens well laid out with lawns and flower beds extending to the beach. Each section of the garden has its own theme surrounded by native trees and hedges.

All staff and management are passionate about providing a home to the residents, through high quality care and support and a dedicated care team that cater to the specific needs of each individual. The directors have over 60 years of experience in providing excellent Care Homes, and this is evident in client and family feedback. The Bill House offers 24 hour care and support for the older person and people with physical disabilities and mental health, including dementia.

The staff and management provide high quality care and support in a beautiful home so that you and your loved ones can continue to live the life you choose.

There is a daily menu of varied, tasty and nutritional meals and the home has a 5* food hygiene rating.

I have been so impressed with the way management and staff have kept the home running safely. My friend is the happiest she has been, I was seeing her thru the window but not getting a cosy room to meet in. The home is having some work done and looks nice and clean from what I have seen. The manager
is newish and lovely, and I love the view to the sea when I go there. We have sat in the garden and watched the birds, it really is peaceful.

Our registered manager, Amanda, has worked in care for more than 11 years, starting as a carer for a domiciliary care company then working her way up to team leader, deputy manager and then to care manager.


Amanda has been a registered manager for more than five years before joining the Bill House.” I have a commitment to the well-being of both residents and staff alike. I pride myself on being approachable, so I welcome all ideas from staff, residents and families to ensure all are involved in decision-making to foster a great culture within our care home.”

Our service manager started her journey as a carer and has worked her way up into leadership roles. Park Group’s co-founder, Lawrence Alexander began his career as a nurse before moving into managing and running facilities. He is hugely experienced in all aspects of mental health, with a particular focus on working with the elderly. In recent years he has stepped back from the day-to-day business operations, but Park Group remains dedicated to his principles of care and quality of life.

Our other co-founder, Diane Alexander trained at the London Hospital before moving to Basingstoke for her mental health training. She has a diploma in facilitator styles, a teaching certificate and an honours degree in further education. With Lawrence, she has handed over the daily running of Park Group to their sons, Oliver, Adam and Sven, but retains a keen interest in ensuring the business is still run according to the principles on which it was founded.

Following a career in the Merchant Navy as a navigational officer, Sven joined the company in 2006. During his time at the company, Sven has worked in all areas of the business.

Adam joined the company in 2015 after working in a start-up aimed at making technology easier for elderly people. He graduated with a degree in management sciences and Spanish. He specialises in the financial side of things, but as with all our staff is committed to the business maintaining the highest possible standards of care.
