We looked at over 20 care homes before my sister joined Manorfield in 2012. She stayed there until her death in 2017. Her care was amazing. So when my other sister required care in January 2019 neither she nor I hesitated in our choice. Everything I could wish for has been done to ease this major life
change. The staff are all unfailingly kind, cheerful, thoughtful and helpful. They all know each resident individually and enjoy their work. It was a pleasure to see so many of the excellent staff still working there. I cannot recommend Manorfield highly enough.

Manorfield is a welcoming home for people of various disabilities. The care and support to both the residents and family members is high. Residents enjoy the security and routines that are in place. Families/visitors are always welcomed with tea/coffee or to join the residents for a meal. My mum is
settled and happy in only two weeks of residency and we, her family, feel very reassured she is cared for properly.

My father-in-law was a resident at Manorfield Residential Home for 3 years. As he had dementia he could sometimes be challenging to deal with, but he was always treated with the greatest respect, professionalism and love by the carers and staff at the home. Having looked at over 10 homes in the local
area we are so pleased that we picked Manorfield as we could not have received a better service anywhere. In keeping with our wishes, my father-in-law was able to be cared for at the Home right to the end with no traumatic hospital visits, surrounded by people who truly cared for him. We cannot thank the staff enough for all their efforts.

After searching for a care home for our stepmother, who unfortunately has dementia, my sister and I found the perfect residence for her in Manorfield. Living abroad, it is comforting to know that Manorfield is providing the utmost care and support for her. The management and team genuinely provide a
warm and friendly atmosphere for our stepmother, whilst always keeping us informed of her well being. I can honestly say that Manorfield is the right place where our stepmother feels most at home, and we are forever grateful.

After visiting many care homes for my mother, who has dementia, I was concerned that we would never find a suitable home for her. Fortunately, a mental health professional asked if we had visited Manorfield. Within 5 minutes of meeting the manager, I knew that we had found the right place. I know that
Manorfield is a business but the emphasis is on care.
Moving Mum was traumatic for both of us but the staff rallied round to make Mum feel at home which was much appreciated. She has now been there for 18 months and I have never seen or heard anything that concerns me. I visit regularly and can hear staff talking to residents without knowing I am there and they always treat them with kindness and respect.
I cannot speak too highly of the manager and all her team, most of whom have been there for years. Due to Mum's dementia it is important for her to have friendly familiar people to care for her. She still has a sense of humour and enjoys a laugh with them too.

My father has been going to Manorfield for day residential care and we have found it to be extremely caring, the staff have tried to make my father feel welcome. The home has a lovely feel and the entertainment provided on Friday afternoons has been of a high standard and varied. It is clean, light
and airy and the staff are attentive to other residents needs.

A year ago we were put in the position of finding a care home for our relative. After a lot of unsuccessful searching, we found a home that is just that. A home that really cares for their residents. The manager and all her staff work to ensure that the residents are well looked after in all situations.
We have found the care that they provide extremely professional and at the same time so loving and understanding. They have made sure our relative feels secure and well and have been of invaluable help to us, enabling us to understand and negotiate all the problems we have met along the way. We can not praise and thank them enough for all that they have done for us.

I cannot praise this residential care home enough. The moment you walk through the door you are greeted by smiling faces of the staff, a great feeling of warmth and love and total dedication to the needs of the residents. It is made to feel like each individuals own home. The food is excellent, the
staff so attentive, not only to the residents but to all who visit them. I would certainly give this home a 5* rating.

My experience in Manorfield Residential Home. I was made to feel special and the staff couldn't be nicer. The room I was given, with en-suite facilities, had a lovely flower arrangement and straight away the staff made me feel anything I wanted I just asked for. The night nurse were just as welcoming
and all I had to do was press the button for assistance. Meals were excellent and biscuits came with tea or coffee. The manager and general staff were excellent and the entertainment was first class.

Lovely warm, friendly place. Good care provided for all my mother in laws needs while still treating her as herself. They have got to know about her past as a care home proprietor herself and refer to this in order to show her respect (she likes giving her opinion!). She is always dressed well and they
take time to make sure she has her necklace on. She loves the food and is well fed. Lots of stimulation through activities.

My aunt has been very well looked after since arriving in Manorfield. The staff are all very caring and the place is just like home, or as near to home as it can be.
The food seems good and there are plenty of activities to occupy the day.
My aunt has had issues with moving into a care home, as you
would expect but these have been managed very well so far.

This is a really lovely care home the staff are all very committed and caring and go the extra mile to engage with the residents to ensure they are safe and happy. The atmosphere is much more welcoming and friendly than others I have visited. It is a lovely care home and I know my dad is well looked

My father's dearest wish was never to go into an"old peoples home" but to stay in his own home and live independently. My family and I did all we could to support him in this. However, at 96 he was not strong enough to live safely on his own and we had to face up to finding him a new home for the next
phase of his life. I knew what we were looking for but never thought we would find it.
Then we visited Manorfield. A warm welcome greeted us and we had a very comprehensive tour. We were impressed and Father moved in. He steadily settled in and has adapted to his new life far better than we ever thought possible.
All the staff have been unfailingly kind to him and us. Any slight issues have been quickly resolved by the very proactive team of care assistants. Manorfield is well managed and equipped, calm and clean, but homely.
Father enjoys the food and always looks clean and well cared for. He says he is happy and has no complaints, a miracle! Thank you team Manorfield.

Manorfield is a very special home. My Mother was very settled there and would often tell me how kind and caring the staff were to her. Sadly she passed away in January but I couldn't have wished for a better place for her to spend her final days. The staff are friendly, kind, approachable and couldn't
have done more for her, always making sure Mum's needs were met and that she was happy and contended. They were dedicated to building a trusting relationship with her, which I feel is very important. Not living locally it was so reassuring for me to know Mum was in a home where she was well cared for and always treated with respect.

My mother went into Manorfield after the loss of my father. Shortly after she was admitted to hospital when she returned to Manorfield her nerves were bad and her dementia was all over the place. Manorfield got the dementia team in and have turned her life around with the dedication of the staff there
they have got mum back to the smiley happy lady she used to be.
They not only care for her but they go into her room and spend time chatting and joking with her. My mum is very happy there.

I have been made very welcome here and I'm most happy. The food is marvellous and the staff are attentive to me. I miss my bath but enjoy my shower. The bed is exceedingly comfortable.The only downside is that my toilet seat is too high!!

For the last 13 years, I have worked as a front line ambulance medic. I think I have been called to every local care home over the years - several times.
Manorfield has always impressed me the most. Lovely surroundings, a small holding with pigs, chickens, goats etc... It's like a big Spanish bungalow,
big airy rooms.
Every member of staff has always been very knowledgeable about every resident, Manorfield does not employ agency staff.
When my mother in law needed a home there was absolutely no questions about where I wanted her to be. And from March 2016 to present I couldn't wish for better care.
