However, if you are able to provide any further detailed information we are very happy to investigate as we take all incidents on abuse very seriously. I can also assure that the home is not short staffed and the safety of our Residents always takes priority.

With a 20-year career in the caring profession, Elga has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for residents.
Having worked at Oakhill House since March 2023, Elga closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident.
She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
Talking about her track record, Elga said:
“Working in the caring profession is one of the most emotionally fulfilling careers available. I have gained various caring skills working in hospital and community settings, which have also sharpened and improved my people skills and management skills.”
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Elga remarked:
“I truly value taking the time to deliver outstanding person-centred care, and I feel very privileged to be the Home Manager here.”
