Oakland Grange is situated in a residential area on the borders of Rustington and Littlehampton close to the coast and within walking distance to the beach. Originally a large Edwardian house, the home has been extended to offer spacious facilities. It is set in a south facing mature garden with a sun terrace overlooking the lawns beyond.

Oakland Grange provides a comfortable environment for elderly residents, in a purposely converted building to provide effective residential care.

Residents have the use of comfortable lounges and dining areas where they can choose from a wide variety of home-cooked meals. There are well maintained, large landscaped gardens and patio areas. There is an activity program scheduled throughout every week.

Personal care packages ensure that all individual requirements are met by friendly, trained staff who are available day and night, led by a management team. Staff are enhanced by working in partnership with external professionals such as the local GP practice and Pharmacy.

Staff levels are adjusted to reflect the needs of personalised care for residents which can change over time. Oakland Grange continuously invests in training to support a quality of care in which they can all feel proud and meet the needs and expectations of residents and their families.

Kevin Humphrys

Kevin joined Oakland Care Group in February 2022 as Chief Executive Officer, which includes Oakland Grange in Littlehampton and Oakland Court in Felpham, Bognor Regis. He brings 14 years of senior leadership experience in improving the quality of life for older adults. Kevin is a seasoned health and social care executive with a passion for delivering person-centred care, with a focus on professionalising care roles, implementing innovative solutions, and fostering a culture of excellence.


Throughout his career, Kevin has transformed services that serve the elderly across the UK. He has led non-profit and for-profit organisations providing care homes, home care, assisted living, memory care, and rehabilitation services. Under Kevin’s direction, these provisions of care have thrived through a person-centred philosophy and innovative solutions.


Kevin works diligently to leverage his experience and perspective to benefit Oakland Care Group’s residents, families, and employees.


As a Director for West Sussex Partners in Care, the local association for care providers, Kevin is committed to advocating for the social care sector.


Kevin is a Fellow of both the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Leadership and Management. He was a Top 10 Finalist of the Social Care Top 30 Leadership Awards in 2023 and a Finalist in the Social Care Top 30 for 2024. Additionally, he was included in the Care Home Professional’s Power List of 2023 and 2024 in the category of Executive Management. He has published articles in Care Talk Magazine and Care Home Professional.


Speaking engagements include his recent talk on “Empowering leadership in social care: a collaborative approach to moving forward” at the Care Show London 2024, his contribution to the CEO Success Stories Podcast and his recent conversation on the podcast Care Chats with Nick Connell.

Kim’s passion for maintaining high standards of care within the care home is evident in everything she does. Kim approaches her role with unwavering dedication, ensuring the well-being and happiness of both residents and staff.
