Silver Court in East Grinstead is situated close to the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The home provides residential and dementia care for up to 42 residents in homely and comfortable single ensuite rooms. Silver Court continues to welcome new residents.

The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans which ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Dementia care is available and staff receives on-going training to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

The staff works hard to get to know its customers, build relationships and ensure all aspects of the service provided are at the highest level.

When we were looking to find some suitable care for my mother, Silver Court stood out far above the rest - it was one of the only ones where I felt that the residents were treated as residents and not patients. The light and airy single-level building is always clean and feels very homely, and residents
have practically unrestricted access to the gardens and are encouraged to get involved with its upkeep - which none of the other homes we looked at offered. Not having the freedom the garden offers would have broken my mother. The staff are truly outstanding, and I cannot fault them at all. They genuinely care a great deal about their residents, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Nobody wants to send a family member to a care home, but I can honestly say that my mother is the happiest she has been in a long time, and that is thanks to the team at Silvercourt.

My father has been at Silver Court for a year now. The building is all on one level, which makes it easy to get around with comfortable rooms and lovely secure grounds. The staff here are amazing and friendly and do an excellent job caring for my father. They often do activities for the residents, and
some get taken for afternoon outings, which are nice, and he enjoys. My father loves the food choices here and enjoys his fish n chips on a Friday.
The home is always clean and tidy and feels safe.
Well done to all the team.

I couldn’t have left my partner in better hands. They have an amazing team of carers. It never ceased to amaze me with the love and care shown, especially in her final days when I witnessed care above the call of duty.

The staff at Silver Court are what makes this place so special. I was beginning to realise that I couldn't keep Mum safe and work full-time any longer. From our first viewing, I realised it is a unique home.
The word care is used correctly in this case; every member of staff really does care, and
Mum is so happy. It is a beautifully clean place with so many personal touches around. She has made friends when I visit, she is always sitting chatting in the lounge or busy with an activity, and she loves the garden, as do I. As for the conservatory, it's my favourite place too when I visit. Even the dog is welcome when he visits with me.
The last few months could have been so difficult, but Silver Court has made the transition so easy and worry-free.

Our beautiful mum had been living at Silver Court for the past four years; she sadly passed away in March 2023, Mum was put on end-of-life care at the beginning of March, and the lovely staff at Silver Court told us she could come back to the care home from the hospital and they would be honoured to
care for her in her last weeks as they have done for the lasts four years.
The staff there were exceptional. Each goes above and beyond their duty for our gorgeous mum.
Mum was very happy there, and she was treated like family by the staff. I and my sisters would wholly recommend Silver Court; they are passionate about the care and love that they give every day.

Silver Court welcomed my stepfather with kindness and care and helped him adapt to his new surroundings with understanding and patience. He now seems happy and settled, and this gives my mother and our family comfort, knowing he is getting the care he now needs. We enjoy visiting him in their lovely
surroundings and taking him out and about. Silver Court has been a big support to us on what has been a lonely and worrying journey.

It was a difficult time back in July last year when I realised Dad was struggling to live at home on his own.
It was a daunting task finding the right care home that would suit Dad, but as soon as my husband and I walked into Silver Court, we realised it was the right care home for Dad. As we walked
in, we felt a bright, fresh, lively, happy feel to the home.
Getting Dad settled in wasn't easy as he resisted the move, but due to the care, kindness and patience of all the staff, he finally settled and has even made a couple of friends. It's a piece of mind for me to know that he is safe and well looked after, and I have no regrets about moving him here.

When I first visited Silver Court, I was confident it was the right environment for Mum, who moved there in August 2022. Her settling-in process was not without challenge, but I found the staff to be very supportive and proactive in the necessary interventions to help Mum settle. If we go out somewhere,
she is always happy to return and expresses a sense of relief that this is her home. There is a lovely feel to Silver Court, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The garden is a lovely facility, and when the weather allows, we enjoy sitting outside looking for planes. There is a lively energy in the home, and it always looks clean and fresh. It is a relief to have found a home which offers so much.

I have nothing but praise and thanks for all the staff at Silver Court. Mum's last few weeks were extremely difficult, and she was treated with care and dignity at all times. My only concerns would be the time and effort the staff have to put into contacting the medical practice who are responsible
for drugs and pain killers etc. It would be time better spent looking after the residents, but it's no fault of theirs.

My sister-in-law has been a resident in Silver Court for just over a year. Silver Court has the warmth and atmosphere of a true family home. On a personal level, we are amazed at how much more alert and stimulated our relative is now, which is all down to the wonderful care and encouragement shown to
her by all the staff. Any support/advice and time were given to us as a family is always available. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of the team. We can't thank them enough.

My friend has been a resident at Silver Court for almost 6-years now, and the care that she has been provided is excellent. The staff/carers are wonderful and really care about the residents and their well-being. My friend is happy and always treated with dignity and respect. The home is very well maintained,
the food is great, and the activities that are provided for the residents help to keep them engaged and motivated.
The administration staff in the offices are also very caring and helpful. Throughout the pandemic, everyone at Silver Court has done a brilliant job keeping the residents safe, despite very difficult circumstances. They did their best to allow visits with the residents as soon as possible and recognize how important it is for the residents to be able to see their loved ones. I could not recommend Silver Court more highly.

My mother has lived there now for about 5-years, and before Covid, we would visit mother very often and take her out in her wheelchair to enjoy the fresh air. The staff are amazing, and even now, during this Covid situation, we can still visit mother every week.
We are very happy with the levels of
care my mother receives, and we would most definitely recommend this care home. It’s not just the care staff; it’s also the staff who work in the offices too. Mother is in the best care home, and she is very happy there.

Silver Court cared for my mother for the last 18-months of her life. She had severe dementia, and it was a great relief for her to be able to reside at this care home. All staff my wife and I came into contact with were friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. They involved my mother in activities
and always maintained her good standard of dress and cleanliness.


We appreciate that they have a demanding job, not least during Covid times, and they coped remarkably. We felt that we were informed about her care, and they adapted to facilitate visits online and in person.


The team all seemed to have good morale and were motivated. There was good continuity of staff, and they took to time to get to know my mother in order to meet her individual needs.

It is a great comfort to know that our mum is in such good hands. I am in South Africa and have sadly not been able to visit her, and even post is unreliable. I am blessed that my sister lives down the road, but even she would not be able to look after our very special mum in the same way that the staff
at Silver Court do. It has been of great comfort to know that in her confused and distressed moments, Mum is shown such patience, love and kindness. I am very grateful to all of the staff, especially knowing how difficult things have been during Covid.
