Excellent care home. All the staff are wonderful with the residents, lots of hugs included. Staff are caring and always have smiles on their faces. The manager is lovely and likes to also interact with the residents, helping at meal and refreshment times and coming up with ideas to keep the residents
occupied. Mum is very happy there and always commenting how nice staff are.

Woodbine Manor Care Home looked after both my parents during their final days when they were invariably treated with dignity, respect and compassion. The staff were ever-present, caring, professional and endlessly patient. As a family, we were offered kindness and support, along with many cups of tea!
Our parents were treated with love and concern for their physical, mental and emotional states. The staff went above and beyond their duty to make the home comfortable and welcoming for the residents, I even saw one member of staff give up her time off to make the gardens beautiful prior to an afternoon tea for the residents. We were also very impressed by the attention to every tiny detail; the quality of their handovers to the next shift of staff is amazing, we always felt that all the staff were very aware of every facet of our parents' care. We offer thanks and highly recommend Woodbine for giving our parents such a positive experience of loving care during their final days.

As a professional, Woodbine Manor have looked after a number of my clients. The staff and management go above and beyond to make them feel welcome and settled. Their communication is excellent, the environment is clean and the food is good - many of them have put on much needed weight! The activities

Excellent home with caring staff. Always clean and the rooms are bright and welcoming. Food is excellent with a varied menu. The gardens are beautiful and there are numerous activities for the residents. Visitors are always welcome.

Mum has been a resident at Woodbine for about 12 months, moving her into care was the hardest decision. I picked Woodbine as I had heard positive things about the care provided there and I am so glad that I did.
The team are fantastic, always cheerful, approachable, and kind and caring in their interactions
with residents. There is always a very calm, friendly family-type feel to the home, and laughter, lots of laughter! The staff are prompt in discussing any health concerns and because they know the residents so well are able to quickly spot if anything is off the baseline. Mum always mentions how kind and lovely the staff are and I can see, just by looking at her, how content she is there and how well looked after she is. The variety and frequency of the activities on offer is fantastic, and Mum participates with gusto! It is so lovely to see her laughing and enjoying herself. I would highly recommend Woodbine, it is a gem of a home with wonderful staff who provide excellent care.

The standard of care of residents and their families is amazing. It is very difficult for residents when they go into care. They are giving up their home and it's a complete change to their way of life. The staff are supportive and most understanding. They are kind and considerate, making an effort

My aunt moved into Woodbine Manor after spending four weeks in the hospital where she refused to get out of bed, as a result, she is no longer able to walk. The care and love she has received from everyone at Woodbine Manor has been wonderful, even though her dementia has now reduced her to being unpleasant
and offensive towards residents and staff from time to time.

Following a fall, sustaining a head injury it was not necessary for my father-in-law to return home from the hospital, it was not known if recovery was possible, or how long or to what extent it may be. The manager deputy/entertainer along with all other staff went above and beyond to ensure my father-in-law
received the best person-centred care which was constantly adapted as he recovered. Cannot thank the team enough. He's now back home.

My friend, who is the resident, has told me how happy she is living at Woodbine She says it is lovely to be treated as a person of value than just some silly old person. The staff are kind and considerate and are always available for a chat and a joke. Loves the activities and joins in wholeheartedly.

Mum joined Woodbine Manor in October 2022. We have been delighted by the way she has settled in. The management are clearly passionate about dementia care and lead their caring, efficient and experienced day and night teams accordingly. Communication with family is excellent. I was even kept updated
on Mum's health, whilst on holiday abroad.
The atmosphere is bubbly and residents are kept entertained by a varied and highly stimulating daily programme of activities. Food is lovely, planned for the individual, if necessary.
The home itself is kept spotlessly clean and the garden area is lovely. I look forward to spending time with Mum in the newly refurbished 'Garden Cafe'. Family visits are warmly welcomed and we have already enjoyed a birthday party with Mum, in a beautifully decorated, private area. Lunch was provided and Mum loved it!
We are deeply impressed and highly recommend Woodbine Manor Carehome because they really do care; both for the resident and their family.
