Very noisy - Doors (outer) banging shut, other doors squeaking night and day - trollies very noisy, can hear staff talking during the night. Bells (alarm) ringing for 20-30 minutes at times. No hot drinks, always at bedtime even if requested. Meals not very imaginative, especially tea time. Often items
on menu not available or wrong description - Cobbler was only mince and mash, no baked potatoes. Payment should be based on amount of care/support, not on a fixed rate. Would only award four stars overall. Would like fish cakes/fingers for tea occasionally. Being in this environment I am losing my own sanity. Be glad to get home.

I have only been living at The Hillings for a few months but it is wonderful. The staff are so nice. They let me still wash up and lay the table for meal times like I would have at my home. There is always something to do, live music, exercise classes, visits from the local churches and animal visits
which are great. I cannot talk more highly of The Hillings.

Dad went into care for 2 weeks convalescence following an acute hospital admission. He was in the final stages of a chest infection and was weak and lacking in confidence. The care he was given was excellent and he soon started eating again and regained his strength and positive attitude. His mobility
greatly improved and he was able to return to his flat at the age of 92.

I could not be happier than I am living here at The Hillings. It was scary at first leaving my old home to come here but the staff are always welcoming and happy. The food is always hot and very delicious. My family is always welcome to come and visit. The entertainment and activities are always good
and different. I would recommend everyone to come and visit.

I've found that The Hillings have been extremely helpful to my family member as he isn't a sociable person but the staff have helped him no end and they have supported him in all ways.
