We found the carers looking after him to be very compassionate and caring, nothing was too much trouble and they took a genuine interest
The home had a very good working relationship with both district nurses (who were excellent) and my Dad’s surgery which proved to be a real benefit. They also had a very good working knowledge of hospital procedures which was a real help when arranging ambulance collection etc.

Michelle is one of the first friendly faces when coming into The Hillings. Working closely with the care team and the home manager, Michelle works hard to ensure the home runs smoothly and that guests are made welcome.

Marion is the head of housekeeping, taking great pride in ensuring the cleanliness of the home at all times. Marion has worked at the home for a number of years and has a great rapport with residents.

``I started working at The Hillings in January 2012, we are all very close here and we are all like family. I enjoy the routine and structure and like coming to work to see residents, colleagues and relatives. I think to be a good carer you should be patient, organised, compassionate and supportive.
