The manager’s door is always open, enabling family to speak about any concerns.
Administration is excellent. All emails are responded to quickly.
I
I have peace of mind knowing that The Hillings security and safety procedures do not allow anyone to enter the premises and vulnerable residents cannot leave the building.
Staff are friendly, approachable, have a natural caring nature, smiling faces and always willing to comply with family wishes and requests.
My Mum has advanced dementia, is well cared for, and receives regular hairdressing and chiropody.
Her room is a good size, with a large window. Her en suite is always clean.
She is happy in her environment and enjoys time spent talking and laughing with the carers.

Michelle is one of the first friendly faces when coming into The Hillings. Working closely with the care team and the home manager, Michelle works hard to ensure the home runs smoothly and that guests are made welcome.

Marion is the head of housekeeping, taking great pride in ensuring the cleanliness of the home at all times. Marion has worked at the home for a number of years and has a great rapport with residents.

I enjoy the routine and structure and like coming to work to see residents, colleagues and relatives. I think to be a good carer you should be patient, organised, compassionate and supportive.
