Beauchamp House is a residential care home in Chedgrave, South Norfolk that aims to provide residents with a friendly living environment, with the added benefit of having a professional team of staff on hand to help and advise on their individual needs.

All residents are allocated a key-worker who is responsible for agreeing a personal care plan. This plan is regularly reviewed with residents and their family. Residents are encouraged to make as many choices as possible about their interests and activities and staff always try to provide or facilitate activities that promote a high quality of life.

A dedicated area of the home has recently opened which provides specialist care for people living with dementia. It contains bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area, a communal living room, assisted bathroom and separate toilets.

The staff are all very caring and respectful of my father's needs he already feels at home after only 6 weeks or so, therefore we feel happy that he is being cared for and know that he is safe.
The building is clean, secure and yet homely.

We're so happy with the home they're spot on with following the latest protocol in keeping my mother-in-law safe from Covid. They're friendly and helpful and take great care of my mother-in-law. It's such a relief after caring for her ourselves became too overwhelming. They made a very difficult decision
much easier and now she has 24hr care in a safe environment. Thank you for looking after my much-loved mother-in-law.

My father is a resident at Beauchamp House. My wife and I are very happy with the home and feel Dad is happy in a nice big room. He enjoys the food and is well cared for. One issue is clothing - Dad has been bought new clothing, but we turn up to find him in old clothes or not his clothes.

My sister has been a resident for almost five years. Never once have I had cause for concern. Five years ago, she was mentally ill - she improved a lot and enjoyed activities and outings. Now she is physically well - in bed 24/7. Every time I visit (every two weeks), I ask if she wants me "to sort anything".
Never in all the time, she has been at Beauchamp House has she complained. The staff are excellent - not paid enough.

I am happy living at Beauchamp House. I am well looked after, fed well and my room is very nice. Sometimes I get lonely and wish that staff would speak to me more.

My mother went to Beauchamp House in March 2018 for 2 weeks of respite after a fall and a short spell in hospital, she decided to stay and was very happy.
As the eldest of her 3-daughters, I know none of us had any experience of care of any kind none of us had any complaints at all.

I was so fortunate to have found an excellent care home locally, that could accommodate my 93-year-old mother-in-law, who had dementia.
We only used the service for 3 months until she passed away, she was cared for, comfortable and at peace. I found the staff to be very caring well trained and dedicated.
I am told the majority of staff have chosen to care for the elderly as a career and have been dedicated to their calling for many years, which is why they are so knowledgeable in what they do. When it became evident she was end of life, her local Doctor spoke very highly of Beauchamp House, assuring me that the care she would receive would be exceptional. I would highly recommend Beauchamp House.

My mother has been receiving care at Beauchamp House for 4 years now. I can't thank all the staff for the kindness and professionalism enough for all that they have done. I have worked in care for 20 years, rising from the role of care assistant to my current role as manager of Beauchamp House. I have a passion for person centred dementia care, and enjoy talking to our residents, who all have great stories to tell. I enjoy meeting with people to help them when they move into our home, helping them with becoming part of our community, forming new friendships and generally settling in to living with us – there really is no greater achievement.
