Chiswick House is an outstanding-rated care home situated on the outskirts of Norwich city centre. The home provides short-term, respite care and longer term support, based on each person's individual needs.

Originally a large Victorian building, Chiswick House has been adapted into a homely and welcoming care home with a grand entrance hall, dining room and friendly communal areas. The home's 32 comfortable bedrooms are situated around the home, with most benefiting from en-suite bathrooms. There is also a hair salon and adapted bathrooms. A bright conservatory overlooks the home's well-presented garden which are surrounded by trees. The home has recently underdone an extension to create 6 new bedrooms with ensuite facilities and an enlarged kitchen area.

Residents enjoy a full activities programme at the home. There are regular trips out to the local area, including visits to local cafes, parks, shops and the historic sites in Norwich city centre.

I was reluctant to leave my own house, but my daughters realised that the time had come for me to stop living alone. I don't think they could have picked a better place than this. I am provided with the vegetarian diet I require, have a very pleasant room with en suite toilet and entertainment and occupations
of various kind are regularly provided.

My mother has been a resident for 5 years. The staff are caring and keep a sense of humour while looking after the needs of residents. The food is good and varied, I have joined mum for lunch on several occasions and always enjoy the meal. There are a variety of activities and entertainment on offer
each week. I am reassured that mum is happy and being treated with respect and dignity.

Having spent time visiting an elderly relative in care homes, I can say on good authority, in particular how wonderful the staff and the facilities are in general in 'Chiswick House'. I have been really impressed. P.S. After eating a meal there, I can also rave about the food. The only danger is that
the 'in-mates' will grow in size. It was delicious.

We feel very comfortable visiting our mother-in-law. Staff are always helpful, friendly and cheerful. Everyone keeps us well informed. The atmosphere is very homely and cosy. We have used a few care home and would not want mum to be anywhere else.
