Fees are excluding any hairdressing, toiletries, glasses, hearing aids, batteries, dry cleaning, clothing replacements, & private papers/magazines. We do have a selection of daily papers for residents to share.
Fridhem Rest Home encourage visiting loved ones as much and as often. Fridhem Rest Home also refer to the national guidelines on visiting care homes which encourage good hygiene and require visitors to wear facemasks during their visits. Fridhem Rest Home would appreciate a phone call before visiting in order for them to monitor the amount of people inside of the house at any one time.
Fridhem Rest Home have parking facilities just outside the house accessible to all staff, tradespeople and visitors.

A CQC inspection and an ombudsman's investigation has been completed, their full reports are published public documents and can be reviewed on their websites. In both cases we were found not to have been neglectful in the end of life care of this lady.
Unfortunately CQC did say we required improvement but it was not around our policies and procedures or our reactions to dealing with a resident in declining health.
The ombudsman also found no fault other than one personal care issue for which an apology was issued and accepted by the family.
The staff and management have worked and continue to work incredibly hard in very difficult and unprecedented times of the last two years.
I am proud of what we have achieved and what we continue to with the high standard of care we continue to deliver to all our residents and families.
We have in place strategies to validate our actions , and constantly monitor with audits all factors relating to the management of the home.
