There could be more staff on board as the carers are rather stretched. Also, the grounds have been neglected over the last two years.
Other than that, we are very satisfied.

Thank you for your review. I can confirm that we have very recently increased staffing levels to ensure that the quality of care is outstanding at Hethersett Hall. In regard to the grounds, we are currently in the process of recruiting a gardener to oversee the maintenance and improvement of the grounds but in the meantime we do have an external gardener who is attending to the gardens. As the new general manager at Hethersett Hall, I am ensuring that all aspects of the home are at the outstanding standard we expect at Barchester.

I have over 20 years of catering experience having acquired my NVQ in Catering Craft and receiving my diploma at the age of 16.
I joined Barchester in 2017 as a carer with an NVQ Level 2 in care after my fond memories of working here as a second chef in 2011.
I then became Second Chef in June 2022 and was quickly offered Head Chef in July 2022.
Having worked on care here at Hethersett Hall I know all our residents really well and take a very person-centred approach to my cooking and baking, I love creating new dishes and variations depending on my resident's likes and dislikes, it makes me happy knowing people are enjoying my food!
