Our Mother had been in Linden Court for 5 1/2 years in which time she was well cared for and supported throughout.
In September 2018 Mum was nearing the end of her life, the care Mum received was second to none, the staff throughout the days and nights, they supported us as the family, also if we
had a problem we only had to ask and it was explained and sorted for us.
It was made a lot easier with their support as Mum passed away, which we will be forever grateful.

Linden Court and the wonderful staff gave my father in law the best care possible. He was very happy, comfortable and so well looked after there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would highly recommend Linden Court.

I cannot praise highly enough the staff of Linden Court in when proved to be the last few months of his life. I arrived at the home to always find dad clean, well cared for and happy. Each time he would tell me what a wonderful job the staff were doing and how he could not get better care.
Thank you
for making Linden Court a home for dad.

Most noticeable - a warm welcome, very friendly staff and management, good food and a loving patient atmosphere.

I look forward to placing my good lady in one of the newly refurbished rooms in the near future as soon as they are ready.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care delivered at Linden Court. My mother lived there from April 2016 until she died (after a week's stay in hospital) last month (July 2017). She couldn't have spent her final year in a happier home. The staff were like family to her and her every need was met (physical,
psychological, emotional and spiritual). Staff were especially sensitive to recognizing when medical intervention was required (even at weekends/holidays times) and I was always kept fully informed in the event of accident/ill health. On the one occasion that my Mother's well being was disrupted by the behaviour of another resident, the situation was dealt with promptly and effectively. And when a postal delivery wasn't passed on to my mum, I was immediately reassured that this would be addressed as a staff training issue. Residents' choice was a noticeable priority at Linden Court applied to all aspects of life from the menu to the dining areas, from outings to the in-house entertainment. I was especially impressed by the availability of one-to-one attention for wheelchair shopping trips into the town centre. Residents rooms and communal areas were always kept spotlessly clean and the food served was of an exceptional standard.

My mum was a resident for all too short a time at Linden Court. All the staff we encountered from management and carers were very professional, helpful, experienced and very caring. They got to know mums quirks very quickly, treating her with absolute dignity and respect and were always attentive and
patient with her. Mum was always happy, clean and very well fed. The food is excellent and always freshly prepared. Mum had a lovely room with an unrestricted view over the gardens from which she would watch with excitement. The wildlife deer being her favourite. When I visited I felt like this was mums home, knowing she was safe and looked after meant a lot to me. I was always made to feel welcome and could visit at any time of day. For anyone considering this sort of care in this area, I would recommend a visit to the excellent home. "We hit the jackpot".

My cousin was a resident of Linden Court for nearly 4 years, up to her passing away on 9th July 2017. I have nothing but praise for every single member of staff. They always treated her with the utmost respect and dignity that anybody would wish for their loved one. Whenever there was the slightest
problem, it was sorted in a relaxed and totally professional manner. During her last days, the help and kindness she received were second to none. I am absolutely positive one would not find a more pleasant home from home. In fact, I am thinking of putting my name down, but not just yet! Many, many thanks, Linden Court.

We can't fault the home! One visit to them sealed our decision to place our loved one within their hands.
Caring, empathetic, friendly, respectful and homely. "No rules here this is your dad's home"!
Food was nutritious, varied and plentiful.
Residents safe and happy with a good range of activities
offered.
Care within Linden Court didn't stop with dad, but extended to the whole family, supporting us through tough times of illness and then death.
We can't praise them enough, they are all dedicated little saints in our hearts!
Why look elsewhere for a residential home for your loved ones, you can't beat them!

Whilst looking for a care home for my wife I visited Linden Court. Having previously visited 23 other care homes Linden Court shone out like a beacon. The care was obvious, the management superb and everyone so helpful. The residents all appeared to be well cared for and active. All my questions were
dealt with on the spot.

Current Review Score: 8.8 (8.757)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.8 (8.757) out of 10 for Linden Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.2 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.557 for Linden Court is calculated as follows: ( (45 Excellents x 5) + (20 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 70 Ratings = 4.557

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.2 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Linden Court is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 50 registered maximum number of service users is 10. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 10 = 0.6

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
