I have worked at The Manor House for more than 25 years and there is a family feel here which extends to the residents and staff. We fully support the team and work closely together to help each other. It's a nice place to work with lovely surroundings. Paula, the manager, always makes a point of thanking the staff every day so they do feel appreciated.

I have been with the home for nearly a year now. As an administrator, I find that it works well for my home and work balance as I live locally with young children. Having previously worked as a carer, I have an appreciation for what the team here does and can support the residents too.
I have a close working relationship with both the Home Manager and Deputy Manager.

“My favourite part of my day is talking to the residents and making sure they are happy with the menu and offering them lots of choices. I love getting positive feedback from the residents and staff. With over 35 years of experience, I hold NVQ Health and Social Care levels 2 and 3, plus Safe Handling of Medication level 2. I feel privileged to look after our residents, making them laugh and feel well cared for. We strive to make them feel at home.

I am responsible for the night care of our residents. I lead a small, loyal night team and supervise their work. I am responsible for writing all the nighttime care plans and monitoring the records in terms of daily fluid intake.
