Melton House provides a safe home for our relative. The day to day care is good and staff are willing to seek outside medical help if they have concerns. Food is excellent and a range of activities is provided. The home is small enough for all staff to know each resident, which is excellent.

Mum has been in Melton House now for 3 years. Her care has been excellent over the last month she has been agitated and fearful, the care she has received has been wonderful. We could not want for better. Thankfully she is getting back to her old self. The staff have been loving and caring as always
over this difficult time for mum.

I/we as a family are very impressed with the care home and the care that my mum receives. She always seems happy, well presented, well fed, etc.
One of the other things I really like about this home is all the carers seem so happy and willing to help all the time.

Melton House is a lovely care home, cosy with friendly staff who gave our mum good care.
She was made to feel welcome from day 1 and although she had 2 falls whilst there, these were dealt with professionally and put her at ease. My only comment would be we were unaware so many residents had dementia
and Mum felt lonely as she didn't have anybody she could have a good conversation with.

Friendly staff have made my husband feel at home since he became a resident here.
Have had a few issues but the staff are very helpful in getting them sorted for us.

My mum moved into Melton House due to failing health in 2015. Since then the staff have been wonderful, kind and caring to my mum. She viewed Melton House as her home. When she became ill with dementia her personality changed and she could be challenging to look after. During the final days and hours
of her life staff were so kind and caring not only to mum but me and my family which was appreciated.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Although communication between each other could do with improvement e.g. passing on relevant minor information to each other. Food and drinks are excellent, all homemade and wholesome.

This is the third time mum has been in Melton for respite care. She loves being there and all the staff are so kind and helpful. They all remembered mum's name and asked how she was. She isn't very mobile so one of the staff pushed her down for her meals in a wheelchair. Everyone was so kind to her
and she would happily return. Meals were very good and varied and mum needed to have hers cut up which they did, nothing was too much - staff lovely.

My mum has been in this care home for 2 and a half years and I am very happy with the care she receives. I visit nearly every day and always find mum clean and comfortable. The staff are excellent and can't do enough for her. They are happy and smiley and create a very friendly environment. The food
is varied and appetising. The manager is excellent and always has an open door to discuss anything necessary.

My mother stayed at the above home for only eight days she had cancer and died on Sunday 31st January. My husband and I were touched with the overall care and compassion shown by the manager and all the staff in such a difficult time for us. We will never forget how we and my mother was looked after,
nothing was too much trouble. Our son who visited her daily was also very pleased with the care.
