As a new Manager, it is sad to receive less favourable reviews, however, without these reviews, it is impossible to learn and move the home forward.
Having spoken with you I am confident that things are improving and that you will continue to see improvements in the home over the coming months.
There does appear to be an issue with the heating in this room, which is being looked into, which is why we have moved Dad into a different room until fixed satisfactorily.

I have been at Olive House since October 2022 and am pleased to say that we have already taken the CQC rating to Good.
I have worked in care for many years, both with vulnerable children and managing residential and dementia care homes.
I love my job working in care and strive to give people the best care possible. I want all my residents to feel loved and cared for, whilst they are with us.

Amanda has worked in care for over 20 years. She has managed her own home and wanted to get back to working more hands on with the residents, so came to work at Olive with Julie, the Manager, who she had previously worked alongside as a Deputy Manager.

Kadie has previously worked as a Senior care assistant but after having children wanted a change of vocation.
She is now doing a wonderful job, giving all the residents time and meaningful activities to enhance their daily lives.

Karl has worked for many years as a senior care assistant.
He is experienced in giving excellent person-centred care and always goes above and beyond to ensure that the resident's needs and wishes are catered for.
