Dorrington House Wells is one of three facilities owned by the care provider that specialises in modern care methods for older people and those living with dementia. Social services rates, self funders same rates, also self funders may apply for continuing care NHS funding.

The home is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and seeks to adhere to the highest standards of health, safety and hygiene, as well as encouraging independent choice and lifestyles among its residents. The home enjoys a "Good Rating" PAMMS with the Norfolk County Council (July 2021).

Wells Home is in walking distance of local amenities, whilst offering large garden areas for residents to relax in and good parking for visitors. The home offers a spacious main lounge/dining room as well as a bar area for residents to enjoy. Entertainment is also provided as well as fundraising events for 'Friends of the Home'. There are flat screen televisions for residents in all the lounges, good Wi-Fi coverage, video visits and online care plans. A wide selection of traditional and soft meals are offered.

Joined: 1979

Steve and Lorraine Dorrington have collectively been involved in care since 1979. Our three homes are all purpose built so they are easy to get around for the less able. Dereham was registered in(1989). The other two homes are at Watton and Wells-next-the-Sea. We hope you find this Guide helpful in terms of telling you what is on offer at Wells-next the Sea and what you have a right to expect should you decide to make it your home. However, we would like you to come and have a look around the home before making such an important decision.
