Oaklands is a grade II listed building with the new addition of a further 25 rooms taking us to a 53 bed care home providing care and support to residential, respite and residential dementia individuals within a safe, homely and worthwhile environment. They take time to understand the individual's own personality and the story of their personal history to focus on both their physical and mental well-being.

The home welcomes you at any time to visit and look around but please call first to make an appointment so they can ensure the manager is available.

My husband passed away on Friday 30th September 2016 at Oaklands. The care and love my husband received was second to none. The staff also cared for me and my family. Nothing was too much for them. My husband loved all the staff and was always happy and smiling.

With its scenic grounds and sense of grandeur, I have found Oaklands a great place to work. The friendly team makes every day enjoyable. I take great pride in ensuring a standard of hospitality that exceeds our residents' expectations.
