The staff were all friendly and helpful and made a good effort to get to know dad in the 5 and a half months he was a resident.

The party was the second occasion I have been able to visit the home, the first being in July, shortly after my friend was placed here. I was given the opportunity to see the facilities, rooms and kitchen/dining areas and must say I was impressed with all aspects.

Sheena is the activities co-ordinator and she plans fantastic shows, classes and fundraising events for the residents as well as providing group and one to one activities for the residents, Please see the activities board near the main reception for the weeks' activities.

I find it particularly rewarding to build relationships with the residents and offer them the support and care they need. The staff I work alongside, as well as the wonderful residents I get to care for, are the reasons why I have been here for so long. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else, as Shipdham Manor feels like my home away from home.
