My sister was very poorly when she first came into the home, in October 2022, but she soon picked up with the help of the excellent staff. She always got up very early, the staff supplying her with a nice cup of tea. The staff are always very helpful, especially during the last few days. Many thanks

My sister has been in The Warren for 14 months. The staff are lovely and very caring. My sister is very pleased with the high standards of The Warren and is content to reside there. I would happily reside there when my time comes.

Since my mother has been in The Warren, she has put on weight and is a lot happier, which has given my husband and I our lives back, as we don't have the constant worry of her being on her own and falling all the time as she was before. Thank you The Warren staff, always so friendly and happy.

My mum came to Barchester The Warren Care Home while I went away on holiday, for my peace of mind. My mother enjoyed her time at The Warren, the lovely welcome of all the staff and the homely atmosphere. It was a real peace of mind that my mother was in a happy place and I would highly recommend to

My father-in-law is very happy at Barchester The Warren Care Home. He is cared for by a happy and professional staff. He joins in with the regular entertainment and especially enjoys the scrabble club and regular outings in the minibus.

Barchester The Warren Care Home have looked after my father in an excellent manner over the past five years. The catering, housekeeping and entertainment staff are all very professional with the interest of the resident at heart. Dad was recently taken to an RAF base in Lincolnshire to have afternoon
tea with King Charles.

The Warren was my aunt's home for the last year of her life. She lived the best life ever at the centre. She loved the activities especially if they involved animals, ate beautifully prepared food and was tended by the best team ever assembled. The family are treated so well, cups of tea and coffee
and offer us food. I can't praise The Warren enough. She was respected, pampered, loved and dignified until the very end.

This was my mum's first stay in residential care while her home was refurbished. The carers and enriching staff were amazing, and so caring, nothing was too much trouble. It was so reassuring to know Mum was so well supported and cared for. What a great team at The Warren.

My lovely Nanny joined The Warren in December 2021 for a 2-week respite stay and she decided to stay after this. My nanny enjoyed the last year of her life at The Warren where she was treated by the most wonderful empathetic team of people. We will be forever grateful for the love, care and dedication
and companionship she received.

The staff that care and interact with my mother are very attentive to her needs and you can clearly see that they have great love for all of the residents. Senior staff are particularly thorough with specific care and medication and listen to any additional family and resident needs, especially their
“ways”.
The meals offered are of a wide variety and nutritional, and age-appropriate with the chef being attentive to any additional requirements.
Activities organised at the home are particularly enjoyable for my mother, with staff always thinking about what the residents will enjoy, they update their social media platform regularly with photos that the whole family love to see. The worry of how my mother is cared for in the later stages of her life has certainly lessened whilst being at The Warren.

My husband was in The Warren Care Home for two weeks of respite following an 8 week's stay in the hospital. During this time he was treated really well by all staff. He settled during his stay and attended some of the Christmas events which he enjoyed. The Warren being all on one level was a very safe
environment for him to be in as he likes to wander about and he is used to a bungalow at home. He went to the dining room for his and mixed with other residents too which helped his well-being during his stay.

My dad has been in The Warren for two months now and has settled really well. He's enjoyed lots of activities and making new friends. The staff are superb. They are kind, welcoming, engaging and are always ready to help. I'm so pleased we were able to get him a room there.

Dad went into the home in a pretty poor state and at first, withdrew into his own world. The staff managed to bring Dad out with their happy, caring and positive attitudes. I'm sure that he now feels like part of a big happy family. The staff are all very caring and pull his leg frequently but always

Our family had to make a sudden decision to seek respite for my father-in-law after a period of ill health. We rang The Warren and they were extremely accommodating. We had a settling-in period after a hospital visit. The staff were in contact with us and my father-in-law's care through this time was
outstanding. The staff always make us welcome and my father-in-law is happy, safe and settled.

I have a background in nursing in my home country and I have completed my level 5 diploma in leadership and management in health and social care in England. In my 16 years of working in healthcare, I have learnt to lead by example and ensure every resident is treated as the unique individual that they are.


I love working for Barchester and leading the team at The Warren in the care and support of residents to provide first-class service that meets their individual needs. We have a truly lovely home and a fantastic team.


My vision is to create a 'home from home' environment, where residents are actively involved in organising events, making decisions, and planning their care.
