Wyndham House is a beautiful old manor house set in the Norfolk countryside in the small village of North Wootton just outside the ancient market town of Kings Lynn.

Perfectly situated the home is only seven miles from Sandringham and fourteen miles from the popular seaside resort of Hunstanton.

Wyndham House can accommodate up to forty-one residents offering a high standard of quality dementia care. The home offers the flexibility of respite care, short breaks and permanent care.

All bedrooms are fully en suite, some with patio doors leading onto the beautifully landscaped garden areas. There is also every opportunity to personalise bedrooms with own treasured possessions.

There is a varied and exciting social calendar of events and activities throughout the home to stimulate and create a sense of wellbeing and independence.

My mother lived at Wyndham house for over six years until she passed away in February this year. During the last two years of her life, she became totally dependent for all her needs on the staff at the care home. For the most part, she was unable to converse with her carers and it was clear her “team”
were very sensitive to her requirements and as time progressed, those close to her seemed to know exactly what she needed. My Mum would have appreciated the dignity they afforded her at all times which I found a great relief, during this worrying stage of her life. Sadly, covid prevented my regular visits for many weeks, but I felt relieved that she was in safe hands. For the last six months of her life, my visits resumed as she was put on to end of life care. It was during this difficult time, that it became even more apparent that my mother was being cared for in a loving and kind environment and the staff were so kind to me as well. My grateful thanks to every member of the team.

My sister and I would like to express our thanks to all the staff at Wyndham House during this very difficult time of lockdown. Mum has been a resident since December 2019, and although she has advanced dementia, they have obviously worked very hard to help her settle in and the improvement in her is
obvious. Although we have been unable to visit since March, we have had regular contact with staff and are confident Mum is being very well looked after.

I would like to give my full appreciation to all the members of staff at Wyndham House Care Home for their dedication, care and first-class attention to my husband over the past 15 months. during his time at Wyndham House, he was looked after by his carers and I am sure during that time he felt very
close and happy to be under their care. He enjoyed the Friday music session, joining in as best he could. Thank you to everyone for making his final days with you peaceful, as he passed away. A big thank you also to the caring team, the housekeeping team, and maintenance.

In this most difficult time once again Wyndham House has done all they can to support and keep all their residents and staff well. They have set up skype so families can keep in contact with their loved ones. They have sent pictures via Whatsapp and keep families informed by phone, all of which has
added to their workload. They have worked selflessly in these uncertain times when support from government was not how it should have been. I like to thank them all.

The staff took great care of him treating him with total respect and empathy, even on his last days of his life he was given such good care and also letting my mother and myself in to be with my dad and giving us good

My mum has been in Wyndham Care Home for almost two months now, and I am very happy with the experience so far. I feel that the staff are very interested in making my mum comfortable and are very good at keeping me updated with her progress.
I feel that I can call any time and am given honest feedback
on how she is doing. It was a difficult period for my mum, first moving from home to hospital and then subsequently to Wyndham. I really appreciate all the physical and emotional support you have given us at this difficult time; it has made these transitions easier.

From the moment my dad entered the home the experience has been extremely good. The way in which my dad has settled and now the staff are so respectful to his needs. My dad is as comfortable as he could be I know this because "he is happy". He is always clean and his room is very pleasant. His clothes
are clean and looked after, they smell lovely. Would recommend Wyndham all the way.

Obviously my concern is targetted primarily towards my father-in-law however during my visits every resident appears to be treated with the same level of respect, care and consideration and this is an extremely comforting situation.
My father-in-law entered the home in an extremely discomforting situation,
now after a few short weeks he has gained weight, is lucid and well-groomed and his general appearance is particularly satisfactory. Well done.

My uncle spent 2 1/2 years at Wyndham and found a new calmness within days of being there. Staff looked after him with patience, kindness and meticulous care. He was always treated with dignity and he was free to be who he wanted to be,m and all the time he feels safe, staff understood him and valued
him for who he was. I now know what it is to be indebted and thank the staff for their tireless care, understanding professionalism and making Wynhamd the 'right home' for him.

I have found the staff at Wyndham House very caring and helpful. Although it is upsetting that I am unable to care for Mum at home, I am pleased that the carers and staff make Mum's placement as good as I could hope for. I was also very grateful for the time the senior staff spent helping me secure
funding. I would recommend the home to anyone.

My father was in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease when he became a resident. At home, he had become confused, upset and a danger to all. Days after moving to the care home it was as if the light came back to his eyes. He was usually smiling and definitely became part of life again. I have nothing
but praise for all the staff and will be forever grateful to them for looking after my father so well.
