Overall service very good. Staff excellent very caring, nothing too much trouble for them. My husband was treated with dignity. He looked a little unkempt when I visited but was very clean. He appears very happy and contented when at Allonsfield House and is looking forward to his third respite visit
in a few weeks time. I sometimes think he is reluctant to return home as the routine at Allonsfield House and the fact it is a safe and friendly environment seems to suit him and stimulate him!!

As soon as you walk through the door you are met by friendly happy residents and staff. We were very happy with the care mother received. Mother especially enjoyed the special events/visitors i.e sing a longs music afternoons.

I came in today to do my Nan's hair. The staff around that I saw, were very welcoming, chatty and friendly towards me and my nan. After doing my nans hair we had a lovely cup of tea and I feel that my nan is very happy and content and it's a lovely place to be.

We (the family) moved mum to Ashefield (being the dementia unit of Allonsfield) following the appalling care received in another home.
What a difference - she was wonderfully cared for. Particular care was given to all pressure areas and general skin care. The care afforded to the whole family was
excellent. I was able to feel confident to leave mum in their care when I went on holiday for a month and had no issues at all on my return.
I visited my mother virtually every other day and feel confident in giving my opinion of care given.

I started my career in the care industry and soon realised my passion was nursing. I have acquired considerable experience working for the NHS in various positions as well as in private care homes. Since joining Kingsley, I have progressed from Clinical Lead Nurse to Home Manager at Woodbridge, before moving to Allonsfield. I love the support you get from a family-run company and I am blessed with a great team. Outside work, I love reading and gardening and enjoy travel.

I have worked in healthcare since 2010, I started as a support worker and then completed my degree in Mental Health Nursing in 2016. I have worked in acute wards as well as nursing homes. Being an advocate for people with physical and mental health needs has always been a passion of mine and I have always been drawn back to working with the older generation. I believe in being honest, compassionate, kind and having good listening skills. I will always do my best to help anyone who is struggling. Being holistic and working with the Multi-Disciplinary Team is key when caring for residents and their families. I will always strive to empower my team to provide the best quality of care possible.


I love all things Disney so if I'm not at work I'm probably visiting Disney World. I have a good sense of humour and like to lead life and work with a positive attitude. A happy atmosphere is contagious and this is always my goal!

I have been working here at Allonsfield for two and a half years. However, I have worked in the care sector for 17 years in many different roles and I can honestly say Allonsfield is the loveliest place I have worked. The residents make me smile every day and I enjoy having a “natter” and listening to their own and family history. My family are very important to me and I spend most of my spare time with my nephew and nieces and I love being Aunty Vic. I also like to watch crime dramas and documentaries.

Sally Ann always has a smile to make people feel very relaxed, she ensures that Allonsfield has a safe, warm and welcoming environment and strives to make the place feel like home from home.
