Visited Dell Care home again for Aunty. Extremely homely and friendly staff. Staff greeted me and are passionate, caring and helpful. Lots of fun engagement activities. Recommend to anyone.

My mother was in respite care at The Dell Care Home for the last four weeks and I cannot thank all the staff enough for the kind, friendly and compassionate care my mother received. Mum's room was immaculate, the food first rate and there was always a friendly member of staff to care for mum.

Mum has settled in well and really likes the room nice and light and decorated lovely.
Loves the food and finds all the staff lovely, we as a family are so pleased for her as she misses her home but has found the care home much more than she thought it would be excellent.

Mother has settled really well in the home. She is lucky to have her own little garden space which has made her feel at home. Planting up her own garden has been a bonus.
Staff are very helpful and kind, my mother is kept very busy with activities all day. Very pleased we picked The Dell.

My father has now been in The Dell Care Home for 2 years and during the entire time has been cared for extremely well. The staff and management are outstanding and take care to tailor the support they provide to residents with individual needs. He is fed very well, kept clean and tidy and provided with
all the activities and entertainment he wants. The activities coordinators are amazing. The home is investing heavily in their facilities and the remodelled and refurbished resident's lounge will be smart and comfortable. There is a rolling programme to update resident's rooms.

My mother was moved by us to this care home late June 2017. In July she was rushed to hospital kept in for 48 hours, due to her condition was placed on end of life care. The hospital contacted the care home prior to release to ensure they would be able to accept her back.


Fortunately, they did. The

level of care that was given to my mother from her arrival in June till her death early August was 2nd to none. There was nothing that was too much trouble for the management or staff. The level of respect and dignity she was given was outstanding.


The staff are angels and so dedicated, the level of support we were given during that 11 day period was so greatly appreciated. Even the night my mum got her angel wings a member of staff who should have finished at pm was still there at 11.30 pm.


The activities and the whole environment is conducive to keeping residents as engaged as possible.


I cannot speak highly enough of this home and its staff.

I am very happy with how my nan is looked after, she has made an unbelievable turn for the better in her health and I put that all down to The Dells' care they have given her. Her room is always looked after as well as her clothes and any problems that may occur, all the carers and management are always
more than happy in wanting to help sort any problems.

There is nothing these people wouldn't do. Going over and above is an understatement.
It is evident, both obviously and subtly, that the staff really do genuinely care about the residents. I was impressed from the moment we were greeted at the door on an unannounced visit to view the home. This isn't
just a care home, it's a home in the true meaning of the word. Nothing is too much trouble. Always seeking new ways to improve the facility and the experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Dell. Our family are at ease in the knowledge that my mum is safe and well cared for by a super team of carers, admin, catering, cleaning and maintenance staff. Thank you for doing what you do, so well.

I find the way my Mum is cared for by staff, carers, cleaners and kitchen staff and office staff is friendly and very helpful. The manager is also friendly and helpful. Mum is very happy at the home. After her recent stay in hospital, she was pleased to get back to the home.

Mother in Law is treated very well and all staff know her by name and interact with her. Food and drink are good and plentiful and tailored to meet mother in law's preferences. The management of the home are very good and the team are always on hand to assist/reassure. I would recommend The Dell to
others but it needs to be accessible for them.

Good Maintenance Workers have an eye for detail. Pay attention to the little cleaning tasks that don't take long but make a location shine. And, are also willing to put in initiative when needed, like fixing things they see in need of repair before it becomes a major concern.
Maintenance Workers fix and maintain mechanical equipment. They also care for flooring repairs and upkeep on buildings' roofs while ensuring that electricity continues to function as it should.


Maintenance Workers keep machines running smoothly. Painting floors and fixing plumbing issues and sinks. Also, work with heating systems by installing ventilation filters for odour issues that might arise from time to time.


Requirements and skills :
- Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship is required
