Thank you for taking the time to review The Firs. The safety and wellbeing of our residents is our priority and we take appropriate steps to ensure that this is the case. In addition to residents, we provide support to our residents loved ones. Whilst we specialise in providing care with people living with dementia, we also support those requiring residential care.
Hospice care was referred for and hospice nurses and the GP ensured that appropriate end of life care was provided. We supported family members with comfort boxes, visits and ensured that family members were updated regarding your mother. Members of our team came in out of hours to support and also attended the funeral.

Thank you for taking the time to review The Firs and we are pleased that you rate our staff as excellent. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms to suit them as much as possible. Our food is cooked fresh daily within our home and we regularly feedback from residents to ensure our menus suit their preferences. We have an all-team approach to activities, where these are planned on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure that we cater for everyone’s interests. We would be happy to discuss your concerns at a mutually convenient time.
