'Hazeldell' is a warm, welcoming and friendly home. Whenever I visit the home it looks clean and smells pleasant. My friend is very happy and it is obvious why. The staff, including management, are friendly and helpful. I follow the home on FaceBook and there is always something interesting going on.
I think that the new Sparkle idea is great - fantastic to think that even though people are now living in a care home they are still being encouraged and supported to fulfil their dreams!
Well done whoever thought of it!

My Nan has dementia and has been at Hazeldell for a few years now, since it became impossible for her to live independently. She is well looked after, and when I visit, I'm always impressed by the personal touches at Hazeldell. I also follow the home on Facebook and I love seeing the things they do
for residents and families, the staff and management seem to go the extra mile. It's lovely to know Nan is happy and secure.

My husband and I are so pleased and relieved to have found such a caring and friendly Residential Care Home as Hazeldell for Mum. We feel happy and confident that she is being well looked after in a professional way, while enjoying a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere.
As visitors we are made to feel

My mother in law has been at Hazeldell for over a year, it's a brilliant care home. Staff are all friendly and approachable. We are kept informed of any problems. They are always doing things to enrich the residents lives. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Compared to mum's previous care homes we find the staff at Hazeldell are very hands on, very helpful and friendly to our family when we visit and we have witnessed the compassion, love and care that has been shown to mum and all the other residents as well. The manager and his wonderful team have been
great a support to mum and us.

Emma Watson

Job Title: Care Home Manager

Joined: 2017

Hello, I'm Emma and I started in care when I was 18 years old, this was due to my nan getting dementia and it inspired me to want to care for others. I began my career as a domiciliary carer working in people's own homes, to help them retain their independence by remaining at home. I worked in this role for 9 years before having a short break to have my children.


I then started at Hazeldell in 2017 as a Senior Carer, progressing into management in 2019 as a Deputy Manager, to then take on the role of Manager in 2021. Now as Home Manager, I strive to give my home a person-centred approach to care.
