This was a completely new experience for me, not living independently and getting used to relying on other people more. However, all the staff here have been so kind and helpful in every way.

Four weeks respite brought me here awaiting a surgeon's appointment. I was treated kindly, unable to care (wash) for myself and in considerable discomfort and pain. Going forward pain management gradually improved and weeks went by having appointments and finally a date for injections and now a date
for an operation has been received. I hope to return for after-op care.

My dad has been cared for by the staff at Woodbridge Lodge.
Could not have asked for more care, compassion and respect.
The whole family really appreciate the time that the staff here given to Dad.
Dad is always engaged in the activities going on in the home with such a great variety.

There have been some good activities lately. It is great to see Mum enjoying herself and joining in when she can and when she can't, we are happy with the way staff encourage her by explaining what is going on. Catering is generally good even though it is not always appreciated. The staff are dedicated
and conscientious.

I came here with my husband in December 2022, sadly my husband died in March. All the staff were so kind and helpful and I never felt alone. The care/support is excellent and we are all treated with dignity and the management is first-class. I'm very happy in my bedroom with a lovely view over the big
school. The room is always clean. All food is excellent. The activities I really enjoy to take part in. It's very good value for money.

It was nice to have a review meeting, been a while due to management changes. Lovely to see several relations at the meeting, was happy with the meeting and how it went. Stated many issues which needed sorting out. Very happy with the new management, sure the home will run better now, but time will
tell! Further meetings will show how progress will go. I have been in many homes from the 1960s to the present, so will be noting this home's progress. Progress so far is good.

My husband who suffers from dementia stayed there for 2 weeks respite. Overall the care was very good although his mobility got worse due to being pushed about in the wheelchair due to the distance from his room to the main facilities. He is now back home and walks independently. I was not happy with
his clothes being mixed up with other residents.

Woodbridge Lodge made a huge difference to my mum after a difficult time. She regained weight and her happy disposition returned. The home provided a bright, cheerful and caring environment where my mum was treated as an individual, making her own decisions and becoming friends with other residents.
As visitors, my partner and I felt welcomed and enjoyed visiting Mum.

We decided on Woodbridge Lodge for my elderly mother for respite care, after having an elbow replacement. The care home Manager arranged transport from the hospital to collect Mum for her stay with the Lodge. The staff go over and above with the patients. Mum's tablets are always administered on time
(Mum has Parkinsons'). An excellent well-run home for the elderly. Would definitely recommend it, Mum has made many friends.

My husband has been here for more than a year, surrounded by kind and caring staff - both for him and myself. It is a small, very personal home in beautiful surroundings, lovely buildings and beautiful gardens. It feels like a family, rather than an institution. I am confident that they always do their

The first thing I noticed about Woodbridge Lodge is that it has a really nice friendly atmosphere. The residents use the lounge, conservatory and dining areas to socialise so they don't stay in their rooms all day like some care homes I have seen. The staff are lovely and always seem cheerful. My mum
has settled in well and she is well looked after.

Thank you so much for caring for my mother with compassion and kindness. My mother has difficulty swallowing and was still given loads of choices for food, to tempt her to eat. Staff managed to provide a room downstairs where she is very comfortable, with a lovely view of the beautiful garden and wildlife.

We moved my father from his flat in London in April which was a difficult decision and one we were dreading having to do but he has settled into The Lodge incredibly well and is being looked after beautifully.
