Warm welcome and friendly staff. Light, spacious conservatory looking out onto a huge, beautifully planned garden with outdoor seating. The flower arranging activity in the conservatory was very much enjoyed by the residents and us. We are always offered refreshments when we visit. The residents are
treated with respect, great care and patience.

The staff are very friendly and on hand to answer any questions about dad and his care.
Quality of food seems very good and dad always says how much he enjoys his meals.
Management always very approachable but admin and contact, especially regarding activities, could be improved.

I cannot speak highly enough for the care that my husband receives. The staff and carers really do understand the meaning of tender loving care. The food is always beautifully cooked and presented and every effort is made by carers to help and encourage residents who are sometimes reluctant to eat.
The cleanliness is excellent.

Following a visit to my stepfather, he was extremely happy after participating in the Woodbridge combined care home choir concert on 26th June funded by comic relief. He found it lovely and especially listening to the children. He very much enjous the singing and participating in the choir and getting
out to other venues.

My wife has been at Woodbridge Lodge for the past four months with mild dementia. I have had health problems that made care for her imperative. I was in hospital when my children arranged for her admission. When I was able to visit, I was very impressed with the care she was receiving - the staff were
unfailingly kind and caring. She has continued to be happy and healthy - it is a well run and impressive establishment.

Woodbridge Lodge is a lovely home. The house is large and substantial with beautiful mature gardens which are well looked after, giving a warm country atmosphere.


The staff are exceptional. They know the residents and relatives well and always have the time to help, as and when required.
Recently

there has been Dementia training for the staff, which I believe has helped my mother become more settled and accepting of her situation.


The food is home cooked and very appetising. Drinks are always available and the homemade cakes are excellent!

This is a very warm and caring home with a very homely atmosphere. The staff are very much part of the family and treat the residents with kindness. The home is well run and the staff are very well trained and seem to have a great deal of understanding of the residents physical and mental well being.
The food is well cooked with plenty of variety. The residents are encouraged to join in and make cakes for afternoon tea. There are a variety of activities which they can join in if they wish. Entertainment is put on at regular intervals and members of the public are invited to join in. Overall a lovely place for my Mum to be.

Woodbridge Lodge has recently had a bit of a facelift. New flooring decoration etc. The home looks more pleasing to the eye when entering. The staff are always friendly when I visit and information sent to me by email of any up and coming events etc.

My father moved into Woodbridge Lodge just over 3 months ago and in that short time, he has changed from a lonely disgruntled old man to a content, happy gentleman. He is a pleasure to visit and all the staff welcome members of the family at all times of the day. Dad has rekindled his love of music
by playing piano for everyone and recently celebrated his 94th birthday with all his new friends there. He's fitter, healthier and happier - so I'm happier too!

A very homely atmosphere with very caring staff. There is a wonderful feeling as you walk in the front door. The entertainment is very good and some events are open to the public . They have a very good menu, with good choices. Overall an excellent home from home.

I cannot praise Woodbridge Lodge highly enough. My mother has been a resident for the past three (3) years. She initially came to the home for respite care and was so happy we made arrangements for her to stay permanently. The home is situated in an period property and it is partly down to this that
it provides a "cosy" atmosphere, with all the squeaks and friendly noises. I mention this as my mother is not a lover of the hotel style modern homes. The staff provide amazing care. Recently my mother was taken to hospital, due to suffering an illness, and as I live 200 miles away staff went with her to hospital and contacted me as soon as the ambulance had left to inform me of the situation. Further the staff member who went with her also contacted me with an update. Again I mention this as an example of the care for not just the residents but their families as well. As with other reviews the grounds are lovely and well maintained.

I have worked in care since the age of 16, working in many homes and various positions. I am now working at Woodbridge Lodge as Deputy Manager. The home has a lovely homely feel. Before working for Kingsley I was an administrator for a local company and I was teaching swimming which I still do.
