My mother had four weeks respite care from January through to February.
I was extremely impressed with the level of care she received during her stay and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
More like a hotel than a care home.

A friend, resident, elderly with little vision, poor hearing and a tendency to be forgetful was unable to attend a colleague's funeral service. This was distressing but the staff at Manson House were able at short notice to download a video thus giving comfort.

My father-in-law has been at Manson House for five years. He loves being there and he is well looked after. All the staff are so friendly and caring. He's made good friends with other residents. The food is cooked fresh and there is a choice of menu. His room is spacious with an ensuite and a view of
the pretty garden that is kept beautifully.

Manson House was identified as the most suitable for our needs by local health professionals. This exceptional care home allayed all my carer concerns, establishing trust through a professional and rare quality of management visible in the longevity of service, contented discipline and respect for the
residents and each other amongst the staff. The maturity and experience enable an understanding of fiercely independent elderly people. Time management for drinks, meals and medication means that there are a minimum of 13 visits to the room a day. There is a buzzer around the neck, on the bed and in the bathroom. Staff give kind reassurance not to be embarrassed if help is required, not just in an emergency. All these qualities together with freshly made, delicious, nutritious and attractively presented food and social interaction ensure a level of health and wellbeing that has given me a peace of mind I did not expect. The best of life care requirements are surpassed by Manson House.

I have found the home very pleasant and one I am happy to stay in. My son and relations are close by. My daughter, who is not, would be pleased to know that I am able to settle in. Never been in or visited a car home before. I shall love walking round the garden and seeing plants that I had in my own
garden. I find this hard as it does bring back happy memories of times gone by.
