FEES
The Home charges the current rate of fees paid by the relevant placing social/ health services. For more details about fees and the methods for paying them, please see our separate Terms and Conditions of Residency (and Financial Agreement for Self-Funders).
Residents contributions to fees (or the full amount for some who self-fund) are usually collected by four weekly standing order. The fees are reviewed each year and usually change (subject to government guidance) each April.
OUR CURRENT FEE LEVELS ARE BETWEEN
£1350 -1500 PER PERSON PER WEEK
£ 1400-£ 1500 PER WEEK FOR A DOUBLE ROOM Single occupancy
Most people are eligible for financial assistance with their fees. This can be explained in detail by the relevant Social/ Health Services Department, but typically consists of a payment from Social Services
according to their assessments of their needs, with the remainder paid by you from your benefits or from your family
Other people have more than the “minimum level of savings” (set each year by the government) which leads to them having to pay the full care home fee (they become “self-funding”). For these people the NHS help by making a small contribution to fees.
Should your circumstances change, and you can no longer meet the full level of fees, Social Services will be contacted to assess your needs which usually culminates in them paying a finite amount, the outstanding balance being met by your family.

Very happy with the care provided. Staff are splendid in every way, with a manager doing a great job.
I came for a week, but after I became so pleased that I am staying for good.

Overall Experience

For all the time I have been coming to the care home to visit my mother-in-law I have found standards to be very high and feel peace of mind knowing she is well looked after. The Nuns are marvellous at what they do.

Overall Experience

Excellent practical care, considerate of the resident's needs and wishes. Genuine care and compassion is evident in both the sisters and the carers. Montana is part of the local community, which supports its fundraising events.
I think that the greatest recommendation that I can give is to say that

I am entirely happy that my mother is in the care of the sisters and staff at Montana. They are also very supportive of me during difficult times.

Overall Experience

The Montana Care Home team are very considerate, caring and helpful. On our visits, we are always greeted with a warm welcome, followed by a lovely cup of tea or coffee. I would highly recommend Montana Care Home to anyone who is looking for a caring and good home for their older family members.

Overall Experience

Overall Experience

The care at Montana is outstanding; they carry out their work with such compassion and patience, it is really inspiring to witness. My grandfather is very very happy and comfortable at Montana. All the staff there are very friendly whenever I visit.

Overall Experience

My wife spent a little time at Montana recovering from a hip replacement. The care and support she received were exemplary. The first few weeks after such an operation are crucial to the recovery. Because of the care she received, she appears to have made a full recovery.

Overall Experience

I spent some time at Montana recovering from a full hip replacement operation. I can find no fault with the care I received. It was top class. The staff and manager were exceptional. I felt that the care and support I received went a long way to what appears to be a full recovery. My room was very comfortable

with a large window looking on to a lovely garden and the other residents were very friendly.

Overall Experience

I am very happy here with my treatment and care in Montana Care Home. Overall standard is excellent. All the carers treat me with dignity and I feel safe in my environment. You might understand because I am a Priest, the spiritual facilities are available in the beautiful convent chapel of St Ann's.

Overall Experience

Montana Care Home has a very friendly, caring environment. My aunt is extremely well looked after and enjoys the food, company and trips out. Also the weekly activities eg bingo, she really looks forward to each week.

Overall Experience

I spent 4 weeks at Montana Care Home convalescing after cancer surgery. The sisters and lay staff were wonderful!
Each day I felt stronger and more confident. If/when the time comes and I need residential care, Montana Care Home will certainly be my first choice.

Overall Experience

I am so happy here. It is perfection. When I get up there is nothing to worry about. Everything is done for me. I sleep very well. I have made friends and especially with one of the residents. We go for a little walk together.
The staff are lovely. It really is perfection.
It is wonderful here.

Overall Experience
